What about sellers who are considered under shopee mall and Laz mall? I think they aren’t allowed to sell fakes right?

Can't tell if 100%, as of now not much information yet.

Fake, most of the genuine car maker na packaging filters on Lazada and Shopee are fake, the easiest to detect fake sellers if you ask them directly this specific question which I learned.

Question
"Are the filters/products you are selling Toyota(example) genuine parts are original/genuine?"

If they answer this:
"Sir/ma'am OEM lang po." - sure 200% fake and I'm even willing to bet my money on it.

But please take note some of them will blatantly lie straight to your face na original and one of them is in the list below.

The fake/imitation sellers call their products the term "OEM" like what those tiangges are doing in Greenhills and Divisoria, they no longer call it fake and use the term OEM para masmabango pakinggan sa end consumer like us even if the products surely not made by the legitimate suppliers of the car manufacturers.

Then another way to find out if those are fake filters & etc... if they are selling way below the car manufacturers SRP price.

Cabin filters should not sell below P1,000~P2,000 depending on car brand & model.

If the seller sold the air and cabin filter as a combo package or set package below P1,500~P2,000 then 200% fake na yun, impossible for a genuine car manufacturer air and cabin filter na packaged price mag below the normal selling price ng single cabin filter. What I'm mentioning is car manufacturer branded products such as Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Ford, Chevrolet, Hyundai, KIA and etc...

If you really want to try it out then try buying even 1 piece of their filter products then bring it to the car dealer or car manufacturer they will verify that those products are fake as hell.

Let me rephrase this statement if the online seller sells it as a combo package then price niya is way below the SRP ng car manufacturer or dealer for example a Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2nd gen cabin filter cost around P2,000 and air filter cost around P2,000 which both of them are a total of P4,000 then imitation parts online sellers are just selling it as a combo package around P2,000 or below for both of the filters that is already a big red flag. Parang bumili ka ng bagong Apple Iphone na 50% or more off the price of a brand new original Apple Iphone.

I bought the EBC green from an online seller. I have no way of knowing if it's fake or not. I just have to trust the guy, as I deposited 2,000 Pesos for down payment. I think what I bought is original.

We have a guy here who sells genuine pads, but I think he's from Rizal and he doesn't want to advertise. He also has a good supply of batteries, wheels, etc. All are genuine. Incidentally, just like the guy with the MINI, that guy is "papabol".

Secondly this also proves my point that cabin filters by genuine car makers are above the P1,000 selling price.
When a shop sells for example a Toyota brand cabin filter for 300-700 pesos it's surely fake.

Again this company is misusing the term "OEM" same as the other fake sellers in Divisoria and Greenhills tiangges.


They always tell their customers na OEM Thailand because if they admit that they are selling FAKE products from China which most of the fake car manufacturer branded parts are from, then end users like us will hesitate to buy or outright refuse to buy their products. Hence they are now abusing & misusing the term OEM.

Lagi ko kasi nakikita yang mga element type oilfilter ng vic pag bumibili ako pang heavy equipment oilfilters, mas mataas price nila sa sakura at daiwa heavy equipment oilfilters, by visual looks mas ok din ang fleats ng vic element type heavy equipments oil filter compare sa sakura at daiwa.

Chaka ang isang way para mabawasan ang risk online is to ask the Facebook page of the certain brand sino ang authorized dealers nila, they'll verify it for you.
Problem kasi mga magagandang brands hindi masyado cinacarry ng regular auto supply or traditionalist auto supply because they only sell kung anong nakasanayan nila since before na brands. You can't see Amsoil sa mga auto supplies, usually mga newer type of shops that specializes in higher end brands ang makikita mo nagcacarry ng more premium brands sa market. Then mga normal or maka luma na auto supplies puro mainstream brands ang dala nila.

Personally when it comes to oil and air filter I want a genuine one as it is related with car engine but cabin filter Im okay with a fake one.
