no, it has nothing to do with the lumpsum kasi hindi pa involved ang HR dito. May order kasi from head office to "keep cathy in the organization". Specialist kasi ako and identified as key man risk. Hindi malaki makukuha ko kasi maliit lang sweldo ko. Super flattered nga ko na LAHAT ng conditions ko binigay ng director, pumayag din na WFH ako indefinitely at according sa mga VP na nakausap ko, sure ball na daw promotion ko sa kasi powerful ang endorsement ng director. Ewan ko ba bakit aalis pa ko but that is what my heart tells me, my mind tells me to stay

Oi SAP professional kana? Hehehe... been there... Yeah SAP HANA is what most of the industry is availing now... go for it na... SAP originate from Germany, they might send you there for trAining... [emoji108]

Yes they did the same last year when I went to the US. Ang habang discussion nun, just as so they can keep my headcount while I am away (that has cost kasi) All my friends are saying that nga, na they give me everything and I am so thankful.

SUPER patient nung AVP sa Manila who coordinates with HR, yung June 30 deadline ko umabot na ng July 15 hahaha! I feel so bad nga kasi siya ang naiipit pero she is still very kind to me. Hiyang hiya na ko sa kanya so I am making my decision now.

^Exactly. Take the new role now or you'll just disappoint everyone who moved mountains just to retain you. You have to move on, step away from your comfort zone.

I woke up feeling so depressed. I'm not sure if I made the proper decision to leave the company. I'm thankful crush called me and it took my mind off of it for a while, napansin niya siguro sa boses ko kaya he talked to me longer than usual which helped me a lot.

Don't worry. Give it time. Hope hindsight will side w/ you. Mistakes? Don't worry about them, too. The other term for those is 'experience'.[emoji120]

Did you expect any other reaction from them?

They moved mountains to keep you so naturally they'll be bummed that you turned them down.

Impossible to make everyone happy 100% of the time so identify which opinions matter most and take only those into consideration.

You have decided naman na to leave your job so there should be no looking back but if you still want or stau then do what's necessary.

The important thing is to decide then stick with it. Wala ng second thoughts- exons thoughts.

Sana naman wag pa dumagdag yung VP ng branch sa mga disappointed sakin. He called me tonight and told me that he just came from a meeting and upper management is asking for efficiency gains (AKA savings on PEOPLE) He won't be replacing the employees that will resign in his department so I am very lucky that several departments offered me roles because there will definitely be no more open roles anymore unless someone resigns in the company. He said wag na ko mapili (same as what my German VP boss said) Saan daw ako makakahanap ng company who gives me the same privileges as the current one (tama siya!)

Dati kaaway ng alpha boss ko that VP and we went from enemies to him showing concern for me like I am his own staff Maiinis yun na hindi ako nakinig to stay I told him siya kasi gusto ko na boss e wala na talaga opening sa kanila e pinagbabawas pa nga siya (he did arrange for my role in Japan na hindi natuloy because of CHINA VIRUS!!!)

I have the weekend to think AGAIN!

OMG! I am crying! I really disappointed my VP German boss. Sobrang speechless siya that I declined the role. His points na parang I just want to bury my head in sand

1. He used all his connections to get me a role

2. I complained that they wanted me to decide if it's a yes or no. He said that MANY people will jump at the opportunity of a role. There are a lot of people who would willingly take that role and the company will not wait for me - In that aspect wala ako self awareness until he told me

3. CALL the director of Projects NOW and retract

4. He is frustrated because I don't listen to him

5. He is frustrated that I don't listen to other management which is to stay (ie VP Branch, VP Compensation, VP Risk)

6. It's not reason that I can survive jobless (he knows I live with my parents)

Ang dami pa nyang sinabi pero rinig na rinig ko sa boses niya yung frustration and he did say it. Paulit ulit na lang daw siya sakin He said even my AVP boss will be so sad to hear my decision. If I leave daw mahihirapan na ko makapasok ulit kasi nagbabawas pa nga ng employees

TAMA BA GINAWA KO?!?!?! I thought I needed to get out of this company because it's the end of the line for me na, but now I am having second thoughts.
