I have 3M CS20 tint on the windshield on one of my cars and Vkool OEM20 tint on another. Both have pretty good visibility already when paired with HID. If you get lighter 35% VLT tint (known as light tint to most shops/people), the additional lighting from an HID retrofit is even more pronounced.

It seems much better if I lighten up my tint a little. pero ang sarap kasi pag dark tint. never akong nasilaw sa sunlight at nainitan. haha.

mahal din po pala. siguro led shrouds na lang idadagdag ko. thank you po!

Getting lighter tint does not mean less heat rejection - I had clear tint (VKool VK70) on my previous car and that still has better heat rejection compared to my current car with dark tint (3M CS05) on the windows and medium tint (3M CS20) on the windshield.

mas expensive nga yung LED. pero wala pa naman po kayong na experience na mga burned wires ganun? kasi malakas voltage nang HID di po ba? pero mas malakas ang halogen. haha

Knock on wood, wala pa naman ako experience na nasunugan ako ng wires.

wow sir, how much is that vkool tint thingy? that tint seems promising. but for future reference only. my budget is tight with HL. haha

alam mo naman sa pinas sir, pag sa barko, means biggie. hahaha. still, about pa rin sa electricals. sana may ganyang tapang din ako magkalikot nang wirings. kaso sa loob lang nang computer ang buhay ko e. haha.

di ka naman siguro masusunugan sir. yung ibang mechanic kasi basta makuha lang yung gustong output ni customer, pwede na. tapos pag nagkaproblema. lumalala pa lalo pag binalik, "business" ika nga.

Kaya better talaga mga reputable shops.
Meron ako nakitang post sa firedrake page na headlight ng monty na ni-repair nila galing sa ibang installer. Grabe ginawa sa headlight ng monty, yung demon eye strip ay sobrang cheap na parang yung nabibili mo lang sa cdr king na led strip.
Tapos di pa nilagyan ng relay ang demon eye so kahit naka on na ang headlight naka on pa din ang demon eye. Ang ginamit na pandkit is yung pang glue gun hahaha, kaya ayun tunaw agad. Ang masama pa eh dumikit sa motor gears ng projector ang natunaw stick glue kaya ayun katakot-takot na problema sa owner ng monty.

Its because of FB sir hehehe konti na lang ang mga active sa club forums dito sa tsikot. And iilan na rin lang yung mga datihan na mga members na active pa. Kahit si gary quizon ng hidretrofit ay hindi na rin masyado active dito. Mas convenient kasi ang FB and hindi mahirap mag post and reply ng inquiry lalo na sa mga car clubs.
