What light output gives the whitest? And in your opinion, best light to have? All weather ba or what?

Sa actual if you observe even the 4300k is still A bit whitish if compared to stock halogen bulbs at around 3800k. As you go higher kelvin ma notice mo na nagiging bluish white ang output at the same time you also loose contrast. Eto din ang rason if ma notice nyo na pag malapit ng ma sira or matagal na ang hid bulbs nyo ay mas maputi siya tignan kumapara nung bago pa.
Ang sagot sa tanong mo is, ano ba preference mo? Yung iba dito gusto nila cbi at 5500k dahil nga mas maputi ang effect nito kesa philips counterpart nya and mostly those guys live sa city and also ino-offset na lang nila yung buga ng cbi sa fog lamps nila. Me, kahit may fog lamps ako I prefer the 4800k of philips xv, not to white like cbi and not too yellow like the night breakers, another reason is taga probinsya ako and 95% asphalt na walang street lamp ang mga kalsada.
If you want a hue of yellow which is an all weather application go for osram nightbreakers at 4200k.

If di pinag tabi ang output ng philips85122 ko dati at 4300k and the xv c1 ko ngayun at 4800k, I wouldnt even know which is which. Same goes sa cbi and xv c1 unless magka tabi mga output shots nila. Pero yung sa 85122 ko dati after about 4yrs medyo na notice ko na difference.
Na prove ko rin ito sa trabaho ko. Meron akong mga flood lamps rated ar 400w these are metal halide bulbs almost similar if not thesame ang halide salts nila na gamit sa hid bulbs ng sasakyan natin but at a bigger scale lang. Pag bagong palit ko yan medyo maypag ka yellow ng konti but pag malapit na syang mapundi bluish white na ang output nya.

If you're planning on getting an HID projector retrofit, in my opinion, it's well worth it. That's assuming you get it installed by a reputable installer. I had mine retrofitted last year and I am very much satisfied with the light beam and output I get...

Yes. I used Cree P70 (5000 K). It's rated 6600 lumens per bulb but I doubt it. Output is way brighter than halogen though.

Nice output. The 6600 lumens might probably be true. Some manufacturer put big numbers on the packaging to increase profit. Pero in car headlight application dapat lux, not lumens ang basehan. There is a difference.
Just like in car audio, some manufacturer show max wattage which is useless, instead of presenting rms watts. But hey, most people wouldnt care if it's a lumens, lux, max wattage or rms watts anyway

Good afternoon guys, nag pa retrofit ako recently and ang gamit na bulb ay NHK 4300K D2S 35W. Ask ko lang totoo bang night and day difference and NHK to OSRAM? And ask ko lang din, saan ako pwede bumili ng OSRAM or Philips na bulb san Metro manila? Kahit mas mahal pero yung sure Orig yung bulb? Thank you guys! = D

Finished reading 86 pages. So tingin ko po magpapalagay ako kay redline stage 2 or 3 po.
Using '08 Rav4 stock projector vkool k14 windshield. Planning on getting an HID projector po, so meron po kaya na hindi naman maputing maputi? Like improving the all weather light ng stock like the HID po? farther, more width more definition po?
advises are very much appreciated po.
and also kahit luma na po ay very clear pa rin ung HL housing wala po moist.

I've experienced this on a camry with hid projectors and medyu mahirap nga siya lalo na malakas ulan and sa asphalt halos wala na makita. And parang mas mabilis po ata bumigay HID projectors? ung rav4 ko 116k pro ok pa rin HL and fogs. the camry was 09 and 64k odo pro bumigay na left HL niya.

Actually halos di mo differentiate yan just by looking at it kahit pag tabihin mo pa. You need a light meter for you to be able to know which one is more intense at a certain distance. Then there is also kung anong projector and ballast ang gamit. Between NHK, osram or philips, lifespan sila magkakatalo. Osram and Philips ay may malaking R&D so isa yan sa mga effect. Check mo D3 tech fb page may mga orig osram and philips hid sila. Or you can contact firedrake, nakita ko sa fb page nila meron na silang gen2 ng philips xvc1. I'm using the gen1 btw.

Pero personal preference na lang yan. Ang famous sa sa osram na all weather bulb nils is the night breaker which is also too yellowish for me but then yung cbi and cbb nila is too white naman for me. Kaya philips yung binili ko dahil ang 85122 nila is almost oem color temp at 4300k at yung xv naman nila is not that white at 4800k lang.
If you want width famous ang mga oem spec projectors diyan and downside is that they are huge and if limited ang HL space sa loob di pwede. Di rin bolt on ang mga oem spec. But for 08 rav4 for malaki ata HL nyan so pasok kahit yung FX-R or the RX-350 projectors.
About sa moist lahat ng HL ma tendency magkaka moist kaya may mga vents ang HL assembly natin for that. Pero pag dating sa re-sealing ng HL after the mod install the installer has to ba capable and quality ang trabaho kaya mga known reputable shops is a better choice pag nag pagawa ka.

Also HiD projectors don't like flashing po?

Ask mo na lang si angelo kung ano current bulbs ino-offer nya. Last time sa mid-level nya philips 85122 gamit at xv or cbi naman sa vip package nya. Alam ko may fx-r siya na projectors pero kung wala sa kanya at the moment mga hinahanap mo he can order it naman.
Yes not advisable na parati kang mag flash sa retro projector, it's not that masisira ka agad but its useless kasi. Kahit naka fast bright oem or aftermarket ballast ka pa you still need a couple of seconds for the bulb to reach its full intensity so by the time the bulb reach its full intensity baka lagpas na yung pinaflash mo na vehicle
I think you have more than enough space sa vehicle mo if you decide na oem spec projectors.
