Pinoy inventor to meet Bush, Schwarzenegger
By ROY C. MABASA

Filipino mechanic-turned-inventor Pablo Planas will meet with United States President George W. Bush and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in an attempt to promote globally his invention, the Khaos Super Turbo Charger (KSTC) gas-saving device.

"Malayo ang Quezon City sa Malacaņang, ngunit malapit ang Pilipinas sa Amerika (Quezon City is far from Malacaņang but the Philippines is close to America)," Planas said shortly before he flew to the United States the other day.

His courtesy call with Bush and Schwarzenegger were facilitated by large Filipino-American communities in the United States, particularly in the Los Angeles, California area, where he is also scheduled to present his invention along with testimonials and testing ceremonies.

Planas said he is keen on helping the US and other countries fight pollution and seek better fuel management solutions all over the world. This way, the Philippines will be put on the global stage as a serious hub of Science and technology not just in Asia but also in the entire world.

The inventor clarified that he will not go to sell his device to the US government but merely to seek their support to spread to the world that his invention is the solution to the spiraling oil prices and deteriorating air pollution problem and it can only be found in the Philippines.

"Karangalan po natin ito, karangalan ng Filipino sa buong mundo (This is an honor for Filipinos around the world)," Planas said.

hahaha... it seems that this'll go in our favor.

let them scrutinize the KSTC. am sure that the standard california smog test will reveal the truth. ;)

Visit a statistician!

In an independent test done by a car owner in the USA:
Car: 1991 Toyota MR2
Emissions Control: Catalytic Converter

(fixed catalytic converter)
(with khaos)
HC: 2 ppm
CO: 0.01%
NO: 752 ppm

(fixed catalytic converter)
(without khaos)
HC: 1 ppm
CO: 0.00%
NO: 68 ppm

why is the NOx emissions (more than ten times) higher WITH the khaos than without?

Is Inventionhaus and Mr. Planas aware they are poisoning the environment with increased NOx emissions?

Some effects of NOx:

- NOx exacerbate asthma, reduce lung function, and can lead to chronic lung damage.

-NOx also increases the susceptibility of young children and the elderly to respiratory infections.

- NOx also reacts in the presence of VOCs and sunlight to form ground-level ozone, a major component of smog. Ozone irritates the eyes, damages the lungs, and aggravates respiratory problems. It is our most widespread and intractable urban air pollution problem. Ozone also reduces agricultural production and the growth rate of trees.

- NOx contribute to the formation of acid rain. Acid rain acidifies the soils and waters where it falls, killing plants, fish, and the animals that depend on them. Acid rain also causes property damage through the corrosion of buildings and monuments.

- NOx also contributes to nitrification (i.e., over-fertilization) of wetlands and bays, leading to algae blooms and fish kills.

So all Planas is going to do is get Bush's and Arnold's testimonial about the khaos device?

ibang klase talaga siguro mga backers nitong si Planas. imagine, an audience with the Bush? wow.

test kaagad ng US EPA, and post the results.

Hello, i'm just new here in this forum although matagal na ako naglu-lurk.

Anyways, I just came across something in the internet, and this is actually old and has been in practice since Mitsu's 8th gen Galant VR-4 (JDM).

http://www.mitsubishi-motors.co.jp/i...GDI/page1.html

It just shows that wala kay Mr. Planas ang sagot sa "problema" ng mga makina.

Check out the Inquirer Motoring Section today... they have an article that mentions "motoring forums" are fighting against it. And manufacturers are already looking into the claims of Planas on "inherent engine defects".

Im reading it right now. I think the "unending threads of car enthusiasts forum slamming khao's claims" is us. Ironic thing is, just above the article is an advertising of Khaos

Also interesting to note is what the people of isuzu said. magugulat daw ang mother company nila pag nalamang may defect daw ang engine nila at kinorrect ng isang "independently developed device"

if his product worked, yes. if (when?) he's exposed to be a fraud, he will be an embarrassment to filipinos around the world.

Bush and The Governator won't endorse khaos without the full testing and backing of the EPA.

Guys, question...

the khaos device is being installed by splicing into the vaccum hose between the throttle assembly and the hydrovac (brake booster).

example is the Merc 230 SLK Kompressor in the pic:

can this setup be considered an accident in the making? Its almost like poking a hose in your brakelines!

actually, they installed the KSTC at the throttlebody before the air gets to the supercharger. The question that should be asked is, "has the engine's ecu compensated for the lean burn condition?" If I am correct, the Merc SLK has a sensor at the exhaust and a closed loop ECU system.
