a Khaos user POV:

I always loved thread discussions, it really gives very relevant informations... which really makes me worry right now. I had one installed for my Toyota Camry 97 2.2L and found no significant change in mileage... until I did some adjustments myself. Notice the two knobs on the device, tweaking those I was able to have an increase of an average of 30% in mileage.

Sure it was a good thing until I read the discussions about the increased level of Nox emmission and the possible harmful effects to the system due to too much leaning the A/F mixture. I can't comment on the emmission but a more complete combustion should not damage the engine (or so I thought?) but rather prolong the life of its parts. I guess the biggest dilemna here is that the engine system is not designed to be used with the apparatus which could end up damaging on the long run. For the meantime, my beloved car and I shall be lab rat to you guys... when the hood smokes you will know. =)

we should hook up with some environmental organizations, especially those that deal with the ozone layer and air pollution, they should be interested to know our facts on this issue. and they have the clout/ media presence to make a difference
