never heard.

Its made of cooper and it is installed between the fuel pump and the carburetor/ fuel injection. The gadget works by preheating and pressurizing the fuel through the circular movement of the piston with in the device. The same motion produces heat from the friction caused by the movement. The fuel that passes through the gadget is atomized, turning it into " Miro-spray" form before it reaches the reservior of the carburetor. The preheat fuel allows a more efficient combustion thereby reducing your fuel consumption.
The pseudo-science is mind boggling.

Do you think that gadget really saves fuel?
in a word, NO.

Thanks for answering my questions. I should have ask before I bought one. Now thier telling me that I should try it for 3 weeks with a full thank and I txt them that it should be working as soon as it is installed. Now I'm having a hard time to refund my money.

Another delaying tactic? They're just making excuses. Better demand a refund sooner than later...

I suggest if you have a lawyer, have him write a rather strong letter with emphasis in regards to the refund. It should work wonders.

i read from the gasoline FAQ (http://www.faqs.org/faqs/autos/gasoline-faq/part3/) that maximum thermal efficiency occurs at an air-fuel ratio of 16-18:1

since the stoic ratio is 14.7:1 that means that maximum thermal efficiency occurs when the engine runs lean!

the FAQ didn't say if engines can run safely at this lean ratio. what it did say was that if the mixture is weakened, less heat will be converted to mechanical energy leaving heat in the cylinder walls and head. it seems that this weakened mixture is not the same as the lean mixture for max thermal efficiency, but rather beyond it (leaner). i suppose that when the engine is operating at maximum thermal efficiency, the most heat is converted to mechanical energy leaving less heat in the cyclinder walls and head. this line of thinking leads me to believe that the air-fuel mixture can be leaned out up to 16-18:1. any leaner and the engine will start to overheat. i'm not sure if my reasoning is correct or if i'm missing something and i'd appreciate any thoughts on this. thanks.

From ABS-CBN news:
http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/storypage.aspx?StoryId=3560
-------------------------------

Atienza supports Pinoy invention

Mayor Lito Atienza of Manila vowed to give support to a Filipino inventor who introduced a gas-saving device that could reduce by 50 percent the consumption of gas of motor vehicles.

Atienza, who saw the demonstration on the capability of the Khaos Super Turbo Charger (KSTC), vowed to bring the gadget to the attention of his constituents.

"We should be proud that we have an inventor like Pablo Planas, a former jeepney driver and mechanic, who could help remedy every Filipino’s problem on the rising cost of fuel," Atienza said.

The invention, Atienza added, brings honor and pride to the country besides the role it would play on the spiraling oil price increases.

Based on the studies of Department of Energy, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Land Transportation Office and international experts, the KSTC gives 15 percent to 50 percent less gasoline consumption if installed to any vehicle.

Planas also assured the public of the reliability the gadget brings to a motor vehicle and a guaranteed zero pollution.

The Filipinos, according to Atienza, "would again be known to yet another invention through Planas’ KSTC. In fact it has already been the topic of discussions in other countries." Jonathan Vicente

wala bang tsikoteer dito na kakilala yang mga politicians na nageendorse ng KSTC? kahit na bulungan lang nila na niloloko lang sila ni Planas, sila din kasi ang mapapahiya in the end.

Planas

reliability? overheat, etc
guaranteed zero pollution? where? All I know is increased NOx emissions. Not to mention their infamous taiwan test only proves that the van will NOT pass US EPA Emissions regulations.

Interesting, the KSTC for motorcycles looks like a simplified version of the "original" KSTC.

uncle ko nagkakabit txt nyo nalang... 666 look for Nelson.
what do you mean by "13-14 is to 1 ratio" ? Are you refering to your air-fuel ratio? IF you are, you later claimed you are running 18:1... how did you measure this? Seat of your pants meter?

Your claim of getting increased milage on a long drive is simply because you are cruising at a steady speed. I could also get increased milage when I drive out of town with aircon on all the way.
