Hindi talaga bagay ang ethanol sa majority ng sasakyan sa bansa natin. Maulan dito, more water will be absorbed by ethanol kahit dun pa lang sa gas station, malaking problema na since mas hassle daw ang E10 for them (monitoring moisture or water content which they do not do with fuel na walang ethanol), nahahaluan ito ng tubig.
Ok lang sana kung may water-gasoline separator ang carburetors then makapag deliver ng 50% water at 50% gasoline at the same time dahil malakas or mas power ang resulta sa ganitong mix than gasoline alone. Unfortunately, wala pang ganitong setup sa stock na mga carburetors at magkaroon talaga ng problema lalo na every morning na nag settle na ang water sa float bowl plus water from overnight exposure. Another problem is corrosion made by ethanol (not water) on the carburetor parts na di pa natugonan.
When we have identified na may halo nang tubig ang gasoline na may ethanol (makikita ang tubig sa plastic fuel filter at sa float bowl ng carburetor), we manually remove all the fuel from the fuel tank. Matrabaho talaga kahit my fuel guage was already on red line at that time, meron pa kaming nakuhang fuel na isang malaking balde at 1 liter nito ay tubig lang that settle at the bottom part.
Kapag nakahigop ang fuel pump ng water at umabot ito sa carburetor for delivery, dito na pumapalya ang makina since kulang ang gasoline. Parang mag blank spot when you accelerate every time pumasok ang tubig lang at mamatay ang makina kung di makayanan.
sir ang ibig po bang sabihin nito pag bago kotse mo ok lang mag E10 fuel palagi, and pag luma kotse mo mas maganda na wag na mag E10?
ok lang din po ba ang mixing ng regular fuel and E10, ako kasi pag nagpapagas kahit sinong gas station lang na makita dun ako, ke E10 pa sya o indi. halo halo.![]()

sa ngayon gumagana ang makina mo using E10, but pagtagal tagal masmabilis masira ang mga ibang component nito like oring, packing kasi di ito compatible, pero wala na rin tayong magagawa dahil batas na yan at pagdating ng tamang araw lahat ng gas na avail meron ng halo ng ethanol, para sa akin gamitin mo na lang hanggang masira bago ka magpalit ng mga parts or ng makina na compatible sa ethanol, matagal pa naman yun at least mapakinabangan mo muna ang makina mo.
Kindly help me list all the gasoline brands that doesn't have E10/Ethanol added...

OT: dito sa Libya walang E10, walang unleaded, premium, regular etc...2 lang pagpipilian mo GASOLINE or DIESEL lang....

Cguro kaya sinasabi ng manufacturer na puwede E10 sa kotse despite its corrosive reputation kasi sa ibang bansa naman di tumatagal ng 10 years ang kotse, tsaka syempre it spurs new vehicle sales din.
No. In developed countries, their fleet of cars on the road are generally younger than what we have here. They tend to replace their cars in 4 to 6 years after initial purchase. So ethanol compatibility is not as big as a problem as we have here where it is not surprising to have cars that are over 10 years old.

You can have it converted to Auto-LPG. Cheaper per liter than gasoline and diesel.
And honestly, the bio-fuels law is something made by our politicians. It can be revoked or suspended quicker than them changing political parties.

i just experienced problems with my more than a year old avanza. napansin ko kasi nanginginig ang makina nya mga 1 to 2 secs na para syang mag shutdown.nung dinala ko sa toyota san pablo barado daw ang injectors nya.ang fueling history po nya ay petron unleaded from oct 2008 till aug 2009. naging petron e10 sya from aug 2009 till mid 2009 after kong mabasa yung mga bad effects ng ethanol.and naging petron xcs from mid nov till now. napansin namin ang prob cguro mga after 2 full tanks ng petron xcs.ang pansin namin eh parang nanginig or para syang mag shutdown.baka naman meron ibang tsikoteers na naka experience ng tulad ng sa akin.btw eto nga pala pics ng avanza injector pangit nga lang dahil phone cam lang.

I had a similar experience. Our Innova stalled once, but I think it's due to excessive idling while parked at an open space at noon. It doesn't drink anything other than XCS for almost a year now.
EDIT:
By that time, it was overdue about 2,000km past the maintenance schedule.

I tried seaoil E10 on my carby lancer. pwede naman. just make sure that you have more E10 unblended gas in your tank and you clean your carb regularly.
Pag nasira, mivec swap na.
