Layo naman ng Sucat UniOil. Wala na mas malapit? QC?
Bro., ang pagkakaalam ko,- puro gasolina pa rin ang mga new Tucsons na lumabas dito sa atin... Si Bro. SG pa lang ang naka-diesel..... Wala naman siyang problema so far....

I believe by Feb 2011 E10 will not be available but it will be replace by E15

    Where did you read that?

From the documents I was able to read, the current policy ends at implementing E10 gasoline.

But where in the bio-fuels law is the 15% mix mandated?

It doesn't benefit the petroleum company to go beyond the required 10% unless they want their customers to buy more ethanol mixed gasoline because E15 will definitely result in less mileage per full tank of gasoline.

Once customers detect they are getting less mileage, they will surely change to other brands.

well my understanding for the minimum 10% is that petroleum companies can go beyond E10 as they see fit. its actually a loop hole. the law shall be ammended if they want oil companies to stop at 10%. it shall be revised to "maximum 10%".

It is set as a minimum (10%) because the bio-fuels law was written with intentions to increase the ethanol mix higher than 10% on a later date.

Maybe it's time to review the Biofuels Law. I don't see the benefits we expected. Imported pa rin naman pati ethanol. It's a bust.

They should have reviewed thoroughly it before passing it as a law.

Anyway, it is never late to review it.

Biofuel programs require more than passing of a law. In our case, a law that is lacking.

They can learn from innovation systems approach. It will tell them that there are other actors in the system that needs to be involved to make this work.

doubt it. Our current clean air laws stops at the implemention of E10 gasoline.

I doubt it. It probably means just that specific gas station.

i just saw the total station in baguio with an "ethanol free" tarp too.

this is a welcome development, imo. it means that total recognizes the need of motorists for a choice whether to go ethanol free or not..

I gas up at Jetti daanghari

2 types yung unleaded nila, e10 at pure gasoline.
    0.1 peso cheaper yung e10.

E10 Ethanol, bad for your engine & economy? [MERGED]
