Here is speedlabs current prices and install fees.

The kit would do little on a LPG converted gas engine so it would not really be worth it. LPG is already around 118 octane and provides good detonation suppression and burns much cleaner than gas. So save money for other modifications like better flowing intakes, and exhaust on a LPG car.
Just did my emission test. It's 0.3K! They did it 6 times and they rev my Sorento up to 4K pero wala talaga sila makitang usok![]()
I'm sure they thought there equipment was broken, When we state 70% to 80% reductions in emissions we're not overstating anything. Even the old non common rails get around 0.5 to 0.6 with the kits. That's alot of carbon build up and soot that's not going to be in your engine. And a lot less maintenance cost in the future.
A gas powered vehicle cannot even get that on a emission test. If evey diesel had this on just think how much cleaner the air would be there. We can make a Jeepney pass with flying colors
You would think the government and big companies would get a clue and get on board with putting these on buses and commercial vehicles.
We sell the only thing that is 100% proven to reduce emissions significantly everytime.
If you get a chance post up your actual certification just block out the personal info.
The big problem is that it's difficult to install a system that needs refilling on a stock car... if people can't be trusted to refill their wiper fluid before it runs out... or even check their oil or water often enough to prevent breakdown... what more additional alcohol? I think GM started this before but decided that owners were too dumb to have the system on their cars... but it would be nice if they started offering this again.
Damn... that's one powerful Santa Fe...![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Yes GM had this on several vehicles and so did Sabb, Mercedes, and even old Enzo had a few cars that had water injection. On the Buick grand national they still have the water injection light in the instrument panel it's just disconnected. Besides being the fastest production car of the 1980's they didn't want it to kill the vett anymore than it already was. And yes they system is not for the lazy, You'll have to refill it from time to time. But nothing else will give bigger overall benefits.
Grand nationals + alcohol injection equal 12 seconds car.

Hi dvldoc.
I'm interested in installing the device on my n/a TD27 Frontier. I know you explained many times already in this thread the benefits & gains but I don't have enough time to read through the pages. Can you give me a quick rundown on what it can do on my pick up's engine performance.
Thanks in advance!
The TD27 produces around 84 horsepower (63 kW) and 176nm (127lbs) of Torque so the 10% gain it would get would be very helpful, You will notice a cooler running engine, almost zero black smoke, better acceleration and better fuel economy, And the almost zero carbon buildup on the inside of the motor is one of the biggest bonuses you get. For your set up you would have to go with the progressive kit with a surplus MAF sensor since i believe you don't have electronics on that rig. You would only need a 1gph nozzle so it would last a long time between refills.
dvldoc, I'm just wondering how did you manage to get the dyno of AT Santa fe and not the dyno of my Sorento considering the fact that both SUV have AT trans?
We did dyno the Kia, but your stupid TQ managment system that is built into the that triptronic tranny would not let us dyno it properly, Even when we physically put the shifter into 2nd gear it would still shift out to 3rd. It's a self protection feature that would have to be disabled to make it work, I will see if I can still find the file for it, I remember 27hp at 2000rpm was what we got on the first pull for a increase after that it was a no go, It keep saying cannot read cell on the dyno.
So basically that vehicle cannot be dyno tested unless you figure out what fuse can disable that system or how to disconnect it for dyno testing. It's just the price of having a fancy transmission.
okay, I thought that Sante fe and Sorento share the same AT/Tiptronic transmission being sister companies. Anyway I don't think I still need a dyno since I'm very pleased with my Sorento's perfomance after the installation of your sytem. I've left out a Nissan Navara going up the Kennon road to baguio with 5 grown adults on-board and some luggage and aircon setting at 3/4 and that's 174hp/400Nm beast. Some stock or I don't know Fortuners tried to bully me around on my way back to Manila but they just can't beat a 2.5 Bosch CRDI engine boosted by Devilsown alcohol injection system![]()
Your rig with the kit makes more power, Your close to 175hp and well above 400nm of tq, Plus you make your power much earlier and at less rpms. There should not be any stock SUV's that can touch that vehicle as far as power from 1500-4000rpms. Just don't run into the Devilsown Hilux, He'll own you on the highway lol. 200hp and 540nm makes it brutal.
Going to baguio you loose alot of hp because of the elevation decreases the amount of boost you make every 1000ft you loose a pound of boost which is about 10 to 15 wheel hp, It adds up quick. The water injection keeps the power up and give you extra boost so you don't suffer the same power loss they do, You still loose power but your making much more over stock. Plus they are having much higher Exhaust gas temps because their turbo must work harder at a higher rpm to maintain the same speed.
A few example of simple gains on a 4cly turbo diesel from the kit.
Stock power Power: SAE and 66 kW , 90 HP * 3750 rpm; 155 ft lb , 210 Nm * 1900 rpm ...

Any turbo diesel always have better acceleration with the kit, Speedlab has not had anyone and I mean anyone not happy with the new performance of the vehicle.
More and more people are getting it installed every week.
you are right dvldoc. 1500-4000 rpm is the range wherein I can feel a good rush of torque kicking in and it's really a wide range. City driving allows me to range just between 1500-2000 rpm after your system installation I just don't know how much more HP my Sorento will gain if I'll go with the exhaust upgrade that speedlab is suggesting. Could reach 190 hp![]()
dvldoc, had anyone tried fitting it to an innova gas variant? whats the result? planning to install one. thanks
