Same experience with me. 1st time ko nagpa wash and wax sa labas and di na ako Babalik dun. I think nasa routine yan kaya kahit maganda ang product eh mas maganda yung Hindi minamadali ang pagtrabaho. Mas long lasting PA yung nanoglos/sliq ko compared dunsa carwash shop na meguiars. Baka din di legit na meguiars yun.

I doubt that their using fake megs (masyadong risky), sa application nagkakatalo yan.

*innova2013 : Meg's Ultimate Paste Wax ang gamit ko and I apply this every 6 months. Before applying it, gumagamit muna ko ng Meg's Ultimate Polish. I haven't used other Microtex product (except for Microtex Duster) so I can't compare though. Just sharing.

Sorry sa confusion. I meant another brand of wax not meguiar's pero wax pa rin naman and not fake meguiar's.

Yup that was what i meant din naman bro.

Shop with big meguiars poster pero micro magic (good product btw but messy) or generic wax ang gamit.

As I was filling up at a gas station earlier today, a guy approached me selling FastWax 1 Cleaner Wax. It was an aerosol can that can supposedly be used for waterless washing, and has carnauba wax to give your surface some added shine.

The guy was really knowledgeable about the product, and he was a good salesman - not too pushy, entertains all my questions, and has a pleasant demeanor overall.

However, when I googled the product, reviews were so-so, so I wasn't so keen on buying. From a regular price of 999, they were selling it to me for P600.

Now I kinda wanna go back to buy the product, not because I believe it's a good product, but because the sales guy offered excellent customer service and I'd like to be of help to him in order to reach his quota. My only concern is that the product might cause swirl marks on my car.

Has anyone tried FW1 Cleaner Wax? Or at least any feedback on waterless wash products in general? ONR is pretty famous here in the threads, I don't know though if they're similar.

*jut703: Cleaner wax will remove swirl marks, not add to them. If you are seeing more swirl marks, then there is something wrong with your applicator pad or polishing cloth that is causing that swirl (maybe dirt). The product itself will not cause swirl mark on its own.

Quick detailers are actually waterless wash. All brands carry them including Meg's, Mothers, Turtle Wax, 3M, Microtex, etc.

ONR is similar but is available as concentrate. You can use it as rinseless wash, waterless wash or quick detailer depending on how much water you add.

Yes, what I meant was that since it's waterless, how well can it really clean the surface of my paint, such that it won't simply drag the dirt that's already on it (which will then cause the swirls).

Can you really clean a dirty car without water? Much of my driving leaves my car caked with mud, watermarks on the flat surfaces, and lots of insects on the front.

Yes, they can be very effective. This black car was cleaned using waterless wash/rinseless wash only.

My primary points for judging the products are ease of use, streaking, value, appearance, slickness, and cleaning power. Having a well polished car, I can confidently say that these products do not cause any marring or scratching.

Yes, you can but depends on how dirty your car is. Obviously if your car is caked with mud, use a pressure washer or regular car wash. Use the right tool for the right job 'ika nga.

I use megs uwwa, for removing dust its perfectly fine as long as spray on both panel and microfiber. No swirl marks with my sealant. I dont use dusters anymore.

For dirt or mud (thick wet dust) this has to be wash off properly in my opinion.

Tama naman sir ang procedure. Nanogloss/TW Ice and UQW are good waxes for LSP. In terms of durability, TW Ice and UQW would last longer than nanogloss as they are synthetic waxes. Nanogloss, on the other hand, is carnauba based (or contains) so slicker shine but doesn't last long as the synthetic ones. Rule of thumb ko when choosing waxes, synthetic for rainy seasons and pure carnauba during summertime.
As for the curing time sir, i haven't tried nanosil before applying nanogloss pa. Marami dito nakatry na nung process na yun sir so i suggest backread lang a few pages.
