May idedetail ako either mamaya or Saturday, MB100 white, di ko pa nakikita condition.

Planned approach is wash>clay>either Klasse Twins or Megs Ultimate Compound/Polish combo, sana matuloy and sana maganda kalabasan.

Okay ba tong approach na to, sensei Kitoy?

    - White - better prep a tar remover or similar.
    - step board? Im a midget 😅
    - if meg up is used, i think it needs a sealant or wax to seal the oils. It is called a pre-wax glaze according to meguiars.

Ill be doing 2-bucket wash with megs uww. 😊

I don't have the Megs UWW, I do have ONR though.

Step board, wala pa ako nahahanap na pahaba like a working platform, though I have a 2-step ladder.

I'll be using the KSG as the last step.

Depende sa condition ng paint and the amount of correction you are trying to achieve. Always do a test spot 1st. I would try a medium polish 1st and check if results are acceptable.
MB100 is quite a huge vehicle. Hope you have enough pads to rotate within panels.

I have 6 pads, combination of orange and white/black. We'll have the vehicle over the weekend so I can hopefully just wash the pads on the spot and dry.

I haven't seen the vehicle, so no idea yet. Hopefully, not much work is needed.

    Thanks for the tips!

Ksg is an acrylic sealant. You dont want that on a qd spray bottle.

you should have instead read the 1st 5 pages of this thread, that's the best part ;)

it should be wash&dry > clay > polish > sealant or wax.

Mula noon hanggang ngayon, same process flow pa rin naman ang detailing. Ang dami ng guides online, meron pang YouTube videos. Dito nga sa tsikot, 2 pa threads for this, "Tamang OC lang" at "Detailing Thread [For Newbies]". Ewan na lang if hindi ka pa matuto nyan.

Hello, need help, I'm a confused sa mga buffing/polishing pad classifications, which of these should be used in what kind of pads? I'm planning to buy Microtex pads, I don't know if these are good items coz I find Meguiars a bit expensive.

    - Scratch Remover
    - Rubbing Compound (Heavy Scratches)
    - Polishing Compound (Light scratches / Swirls)
    - Cleaner / Polish
    - Glaze
    - Sealants
    - Waxes
    - Buffing (pan-tanggal ng wax etc) or hand/microfiber towels nalang gagamitin sa ganito?

    1. CUTTING PADS - ???

    2. POLISHING PADS - ???

    3. FINISHING PADS - ???

    4. WOOL PADS - ???

    Thank you.

    1. CUTTING PADS - This is an aggressive pad and meant to remove heavy paint defects like heavy swirls, RDS, etc. You can use these products w/ this pad- Rubbing Compound

    2. POLISHING PADS - This is a mild pad meant to remove light swirls and enhance shine of paint. These are the products you can use w/ this pad- Polishing Compound, Cleaner / Polish.

    3. FINISHING PADS - This pad has NO cut, meaning meant for refining finishes w/soft paint. or wax or sealant application. These are the products you can use with this pad.- Polishing Compound (If you want need a little cut, and want to finish in one step). Cleaner / Polish, wax, sealants, Glaze (depending on the brand, some will be better applied by hand).

    4. WOOL PADS - Most aggressive pads, can be used with Heavy rubbing compound.

    Thank you.

I haven't tried Microtex pads, so I can't comment on how effect or durable these pads are.
I am also assuming you will be using a machine polisher for these pads, am I right?
