Gurus, maiba po ako. Ask ko lang po kung okay po ba ang regular wash, say at least once a week wash with car shampoo. Hindi po ba prone naman sa rust pag madalas hugasan? Thanks po.

I don't think so , siguro kung ang gamit mo ay acidic or acid water or
galing sa dagat siguro magrust yan at di mo naman ibababad sa tubig
yung deep scratch na nawala paint yun ang prone to rust

you have some excellent products sir. KSG gives a very reflective look while BFWD will results to deep wet look ( on a properly prepped paint ). most of the time layering is done to ensure full coverage. but nothing beats a coating in terms of durabilily and water behavior. for those that do not have luxury of time applying waxes or sealant , coating is the way to go.

    Quick answer is NO.

The purpose of your car paint is not only for aesthetics but to protect from rust as well. Ang pwedeng kalawangin ay exposed iron parts without anti-rust coating and without paint.

Iron + Sufficient Time, Oxygen and Water = Rust

thanks sir! i think sa hood ko i test on different portions, thanks sir!

agree with sir shok, you can follow his advise to try diffrent combinations in each panel. you may want to do,

roof - kaio > ksg (para durability against sa sikat ng araw)
hood - kaio > bfwd (para kitang-kita agad sa harap yung shine )
side panels - kaio > 845 (or put the 845 sa hood)

then compare after each wash and days/weeks past kung gaano katagal ang bawat combination. afterwhich kung madetermine mo gaano katagal ang proteksiyon, kahit anong combination ang gamitin mo alam mo na kung kelan ka ulit mag-re-apply.
cge sir, ill try that, sana maging wet look tlga ung s BFWD, kelangan maganda preparation, kaya lang, wala akong polisher, clay lng haha :D

ang polisher mo sir ay yung KAIO. you can reach naman a certain degree ng shine polishing by hand it needs extra effort lang, more elbow grease ika nga apply it in a small manageable areas para ma-maximize mo yung pag hand polish. like yung hood, you can divide it into 4 sections then you can polish and buff from one section to another.

Sealant or Carnauba Wax or Paint Coating -- What to Choose?

There is no universal solution to everyone’s needs and you need to decide what is best for you. The best product is the one that you enjoy and use often (or not so often as the case may be).

    Sealants (Synthetic Wax)
    - Last longer than carnauba wax. Typically lasts 4-6 months, with some even up to 12 months.
    - Much easier to apply than carnauba wax. Some can even be applied in direct sunlight.
    - Gives that slick, brilliant sparkle and hard-as-glass look.
    - Excellent water beading or water sheeting property (depends on sealant design).
    - The logical choice for daily drivers or busy detailers.

    Recommendations:
    - Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant (Premium durability and wet-look shine)
    - Meguiar's Ultimate Wax (Long-lasting protection and deep, dark reflections)
    - Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 (Most Popular)
    - Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze (Best shine and ease of use) (Acrylic-based)
    - Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection (Slick finish and incredible depth)

    Carnauba Wax
    - Short lived protection. Melts and fades easily on hot days. Typically lasts 4-8 weeks.
    - Usually harder to apply than sealants (synthetic wax).
    - Gives that warm, deep, liquid look and shine that looks more natural.
    - Beads water nicely, absorbs the acid content in rain, and hides minor swirls in the paint.
    - The only choice for many enthusiasts and show car owners.

    Recommendations:
    - Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax (When price is no object, best in class)
    - Zymol Concours Glaze (Amazing show car shine)
    - Sonax Premium Class Carnauba Wax (Another premium level wax)
    - P21S Concours Carnauba Wax (Most popular)
    - Collinite’s Marque D’Elegance Carnauba Paste Wax #915 (Paint friendly, classic genuine carnauba formula)

    Paint Coating
    - Will not wash or wear off. Can last for 2 years or much longer.
    - Provides a clear, hard coating that provides increased protection against the elements.
    - Paint finish has to be properly prepared before application. Any blemish or contamination on the paint will be permanently locked in.
    - Cannot be easily reapplied when slickness and protection begins to fade.
    - The professional choice for permanent paint protection. No more waxing!

    Recommendations:
    - Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 (Lasts for the car's lifetime)
    - GTechniq EXO Ultra Durable Hybrid Coating (Lasts up to 5 years)
    - CarPro CQuartz and CQUK (Lasts up to 2 years)

Note: Coatings are scratch-resistant but they are not scratch-proof. Clear coat is far thicker than coatings.

Clear coat thickness = 38 to 63.5 microns (1.5-2.5 mils)
    Coating thickness = 0.5 to 2 microns

manipis lang ang lagay ng KSG bro saka i-wipe off mo agad at huwag hayaan matuyo, else mahirapan ka alisin. so far wala naman ako naging problema sa KSG. pwede mo i-apply and buff panel by panel. spray QD rin sa buffing cloth mo kung may nalampasan ka at natuyo.
