I love this product... lasang, este, amoy bubble gum pa yung sasakyan mo!![]()
Thanks to sir scharnhorst for the PDF copy of the guide.
In 10+ years of car ownership, ngayon lang ako nakagastos ng ganyan for car care products : ). In that time din, never ata namin na pa wax ang mga naging kotse namin.
Kaya bumili ako nito at mag-aaral pano gamitin:
Para after 5 years (matatapos bayaran yung kotse), ganito pa din sana itsura niya:
May mas mura pa ba dito?
Welcome to detailing! The car looks good, and as you get more familiar with your products and have more experience under your belt, you'll find that you'll be getting better and better results - so tiyagaan lang rin talaga. You've already got a good set of products to start with. Regarding your questions:
1. Were you washing your car under the sun? As much as possible, wash under the shade. If this isn't possible, try and rinse the car off periodically, so that you don't have water drying on the car - this will help prevent watermarks from developing. Now, to deal with the watermarks you do have, I would suggest getting either a cleaner wax, or a pre-wax cleaner. Either of the Mothers or Meguiars are good options - you can find these at Blade, TrueValue, etc.
2. Unfortunately detailing clay isn't very common in the Philippines - the Mothers kit is about the only option that can be easily found OTC. However, the kit is a pretty good value - you get two 80g claybars which you can split in two, for a total of four smaller bars for use; you also get sa bottle of Showtime QD (worth around 600 by itself) as lubricant, as well as an MF towel. Since you can use clay more than once (depending on the contaminants on the car, of course) assuming you clay every quarter, and use one of the half-bars three times, you'll have enough clay to last three years.
3. There aren't really any sealants worth talking about available OTC in the Philippines. What would be a worthwhile option is to contact either sir Ed of pinoydetailing or Jerome of Autobisyo - I believe that they both offer shipping if you purchase from them.
Today i woke up at 5:30 am to do my detailing.
1. Inispryan ko muna ng water yung car, then ive use Microtex car shampoo. Ive diluted 2cap of microtex in 2liters of water. Dont know if it is correct, but that is the instruction. Ive used microfiber washmitts to wash the car.
Is microfiber cloth better?
3. Applied nanosliq.
Im happy with the result. Kasi naging makintab talaga. I had my New Paint Protection last week at Big Berts. Salamat
Suki rin pala ito sa BB!rather than the chamois, try the Microtex Elite. Although approx. 3 times more expensive, feel ko sulit na sulit compared to the chamois (which I gave to the driver nalang)
As for the formulation, makikita mo naman pagslippery na yun tubig (I think the correct term is viscosity). I tend to pour a bit more extra (2 1/2 caps) ako since 2 caps seems lacking.

Just checked earlier hoping to replace my nearly-empty Nanosliq. As for the claying kit from Mothers, pati ako pinapagisipan ko since (A) wala ako "true" QD as Nanosliq doesn't really function as a QD and (B) if it'll last me 3 years, sulit na than a trip to BB.
Check ko nga kailan next EB ng pinoydetailerstil now di pa rin ako nakakapunta due to schedule conflicts. Want to buy Collinite actually.
Get the Microtex Elite - about Php 600. It's a bathing towel size, waffle-weave microfiber cloth, and is very efficient in absorbing water - you can usually dry a compact sedan without having to wring the towel (assuming you use the water sheeting method).
With regards to additional protection, try to get some OCW, and use it in place of NanoSliq every three weeks. That combo - Klasse twins, OCW and NanoSliq as booster - would already serve as pretty good protection.
wow sir umi001 and dami nang na-hook sa detailing!
btw, ano ba mas maganda - cleaner wax or pre-wax cleaner? suggest sakin ni eurofd sa PD yung cleaner wax nalang, hanep ganda nung FD niya.
ang hirap maghanap ng Microtex Elite * P600, panay old prices pa yung nakikita ko. wala pako neto as original plan lang is to detail the car after ng suking carwash but after learning more ugly practices, ako nalang.
I applied this as well sa Altis and in 20 minutes tapos na... so convenient sa mga gahol sa oras.
I actually feel that both a cleaner wax and a pre-wax cleaner can have a use - the pre-wax cleaner is helpful when you want to zero out your paint, leaving no protection for a new regimen of sealant or wax. However, it would generally be a bit more abrasive than a cleaner wax. The cleaner wax, on the other hand, is very useful for spot removal of watermarks and other slight marring, and since it is already a wax, not as necessary to follow-up with an LSP afterwards. If, say, you have a product like SwirlX, than I would think that it would suffice to take the place of a normal pre-wax cleaner, in which case go for the cleaner wax.
Have you tried checking Blade? Whenever I see them selling the Elite, it's priced at 600 - yung nga lang, paminsan wala silang stock.
With regards to the Jelly Blade, if you're sure that after your wash, you've left no contaminants on the surface, then it should be ok to use. For myself, I'd rather not - in our environment, with both wind and dust pretty much a constant, it's hard to assure oneself that a surface is completely dust and dirt free, even just after washing. I just use the water sheeting method, which combined with the Elite helps me finish drying off the car pretty quickly.
Sobrang convenient talaga ng OCW and OID/GE - and what I really like about OID is that it also has some anti-static properties, so hindi talaga makapit sa alikabok![]()
