Tried the reflections spray wax...

may question pala ko mga sir about mothers product and microtex

ano po yung pinagkaiba in every aspect nung

combo na mother reflection Car Wax & Top coat & Spray Wax(ksama ba toh s combo hehe)

    VS.

    Microtex Nanogloss & Nanosliq..

is there a big difference in gloss/wet look and durability?
malaki po ba pinag kaiba nila?

    isa papala question

    thanks

    repaint na siguro yun sir...

regarding mothers reflections vs. nanoglos+sliq... the mothers reflections combo will be a bit better, but you'll be paying a lot more than you do with nanoglos and nanosliq....

mothers showtime... cleaning QD, no sir? you can apply nanosliq immediately afterwards.

sir, layering the same product will only fill in the irregularities on the surface-any more coats are not necessary. It will improve the durability and the looks by a bit, but it'll take twice the effort

doc, what's the deal with OCW and OGE? Di ba spray wax yung OCW or QD?

After reading the detailing threads over and over I'm getting mixed reviews over Optimum... they are quite hard to find so ano pwedeng substitute after ko mag 'Glos and Collinite?

And, yung Collinite 915 ba is detergent proof din ba like 476?

Yung Optimum Car wax pwedeng stand alone na wax. Taob lahat ng mothers wax and sealants or any other over the counter brands pag dating sa longevity in my experience. Considering spray wax ang OCW spray and apply lang no more hard buffing.

For example, you can apply some Collinite 845/476 on top of the sealant, then maintain with a spray wax every two weeks and QD weekly/twice weekly. Just make sure that the product you place on top does not contain any cleaners that can strip out the sealant.

Its been a steady read on the Autogeek and PD sites checking out detailing products. Now I have decided to have the Altis get the NCPP ng BB. Then get layer it with 915 and maintain with OCW and OGE.

Now just to add sa routine quoted above, I still need to go to the carwash pending a decent water supply here sa house. Now eventually mag we-wear off yung layers. Am I correct in saying na yung beading /sheeting yung visual reference mo kung buhay pa yung wax? Now kung wala na siya, start ulit with the 'Glos-915-OCW-OGE routine?

*cjv_justice: the main selling point of optimum products is ease of use... coupled with more than satisfactory results.

OGE and OCW are just spray and spread - no need to buff. OCW will give you better durability than OTC waxes (like moms step 3!), even if they're in paste form! Personally I've seen OCW resist around 3 washes, which is amazing for a spray-on wax.

OGE... grabe to. no protection but it'll make your car look like candy sa kintab. hehehe.

and sir, it's better to stick with a schedule rather than waiting for the waxes to die off - that'll ensure na parating may paint protection yung auto nyo sir.

    e.g.
    Sliq after every wash
    OCW every weekly wash
put on glos+915 every 3-4 weeks.
