Hi Bar Stunner,
You got PM. Thanks.
amen to that Bar... I just remember the two "kids" who recently died driving a honda civic along edsa before trinoma.
hindi naman uri ng oto ang pumapatay sa kanila... i think it was their driving attitude.
i think meister001 is an alter ego of somebody in the board... hindi lang magawang magbulgar ng tunay niyang identity...probably because of an important role...
so it was a dream came true
let's hope for this project to become one if the philippines' very own flagship cars.
dapat siguro i develop muna yung suspension nya, dapat meron tayong automotive engineer (or what do you call those who do R&D on vehicles) para ma develop ang suspension pati narin ibang mga essential systems. let's also hope that there will be someone to fund the project![]()
can you?
no offense meant too, pero wag sana laitin ang mga gawang pinoy. remember this is only one of the first step. everything starts with being "small-time."
you won't know what you (or we) are criticizing right now might be a great one in the near future. (this doesn't only imply for mr. BS' work. so as to other pinoy made stuff.)
This thread is meant to be a venue for the exchange of various ideas regarding concept cars or vehicles made by Pinoys. Hopefully, exchanges of ideas should be more positive.
And you have done well, bar stunner.
May kahihitnatnan itong thread na ito because of people like you and turbo.
Hmmm...I got the pattern already...
To answer... you've actually got to start somewhere.
Owner-types simply follow the hoary old designs of yesteryear with the same techniques and fabrication styles used since MacArthur left the Philippines. This design uses fairly modern techniques and parts.
Pagani is recognized as one of the best new-age supercar makers... and yet... look at their cars... their first engines were bought off-the-shelf from Mercedes... they use standard gear for their headlights and tail-lights (you'll notice many old supercars had tail-lights from buses... just check out the ugly pieces on the McLaren F1...
Why reinvent the wheel? Personally, this is how I'd do it... Honda engine, mid-mounted... honda double-wishbones, front and rear. There are guys who've done Integra-based mid-engined sportscars with the Integra bodyshell... and they work pretty well.

What's needed to further the development of this vehicle is a custom brake-proportioning valve, to get the brake balance right, adjustable aftermarket shocks, to get the suspension right, and a slight redesign of the cage, to add more reinforcement of the safety cell...
Otherwise... it looks good... really good. I wouldn't mind putting cash down on something like this, if the price is right.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Hmmm... ang lapit ng lugar niyo sa amin... puwedeng mag performance test?
I have a GPS V-Box at home... all I need is a lighter socket or battery to plug it into...![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
I might hold off buying something like this until much further refinement has been done including better creature comforts inside the cabin (including A/C) and hopefully the handling/tailhappy manners of the car has also been sorted out either by chassis/suspension refinement or by electronic aids.
But as it is, it is already at the level of a "kit car" in other countries.
*bar stunner
if you were to produce "kits" of your car, how much would you be selling them? Assuming they would be as finished as the car in the picture (but with the tailhappy manners sorted).
Ang galing mo pala Bar stunner - kinopya pala sa mga drawing mo ang McLaren F1?
Keep it up.
Enjoy the fanfare while it last.
Nothing last forever.

wow. it's getting hot in here! chill dudes!
*Bar_stunner: there's really nothing wrong about having similarities with existing cars. Even major car manufacturers seem to take "inspirations" from each other's products.
btw, there's a traction control system in the works?
And I wonder kung kasya sa chassis yung 4B11T but then it would mean putting fatter tires and bigger brakes... which would actually look good too
seems as if there's a change of heart after the MC Hammer time.![]()
