Sir, I have been to Imus on occasion, but I don't think we have met. Anyway, I have been spending time in R&D for my products, which are universal fiber reinforced plastic accessories such as pedal sets, shift knobs, steering wheels, chin spoilers, bumper canards, deck wings, gas tank covers, racing seats, etc. I have carbon fiber (CFRP) and glass fiber (FRP) versions of these. These have universal application for any brand of applicable vehicles and are, by design, focused for performance, not just looks (although the "bling factor" is welcome ).
I can assist, if you want, since this is a focused performance project. I also have a dream of my own locally made (and locally designed) high-performance vehicle... but I thought I was alone in this... a lot of people said that project is a long shot... But now I've finally found like minded people here! ... na-inspire uli ako! ... time to get out the ol' drawings!
I'll PM sir Dpox as well. Thanks!

Please do, Noel. But be advised that you need to manifest your intellectual property rights over the drawings and original designs you post here.

I suggest you browse through the posts in the Wanna design a tsikot? thread.
Glad to have you aboard!

If anyone's got time, they're welcome to drop by to check out the 7 replica we are doing here for a friend of mine.

I believe one of the small single seater kart like rear engine cars whereabouts is known by or with Krish Aku.
It ruled the slalom races back in the early mid 90's.

Can you tell us more about the 7 replica that you mentioned? Is that a Lotus 7 replica? Can you post the pictures? What engine / tranny does it have? What rear suspension? Does it have aluminum panels? Who built the space frame and body? What type of front fenders (cycle or clamshell)? How much is the total cost? Sorry if I have too many questions. The Lotus 7 (and replica) is one of my favorite sports cars.

Its a 3 year project for a friend of mine based on the Locost kit car.
Right now we have yet to full weld the frame.
Engine is a 4AG black top in rwd configuration.
No body panels yet.

This post was copied from Innovative/Concept Cars thread. - Mod

Here's one originally was a concept car built by seven people in their backyard at Sommerset UK. The chassis was then adapted by Wrightspeed and mounted an electric motor, which then beats ferrari & porshe in a quatermile drag.

Good Idea for the wanna be local car manufacturer.
There are pros and cons, syempre.
Pero I bet this would sell like hot potatoes

As featured in TopGear(gas)
YouTube - Top Gear: Atom

From UK now being built in the US (hindi ko na makita yung video ng production plant nila mismo eh, galing ang simple lang)

.............Sometime in 1985, I sold my Ford Fiera to a guy near Ateneo/Maryknoll. The guy had a shop especializing in fiberglass and had his own tubular chassis. He was using toyota surplus engine. He is an automotive engineer- I think this is the Conge guy you are referring to.It just crossed in my mind when I was reading the thread.

Hi Rey;

Where is Tierra Purra heights?.... conge cars is owned by Binky Victa... how does the body kits looked like?... He made some Rally Cars that are configured like the starlets... but his most interesting cars are the mid engined ferrari type kit cars... their windshields and doors are from a Mitsubishi Celeste donor car. Is it still there?

I can't help notice your avatar... I also have a mini 1996 specs... but it's originally a 73.... 998 automatik. Do you race your Mini? (sorry mods... Off topic).

Tierra Purra is along congressional ave (after passing commonwealth ave from UP) yata... si Otep lives near that area.

I also love the mini... infact yun sana ang una kong plano na flatform size ng TSV. Plus putting a 1.3 engine on a sports car of that size will definitely make it powerful and matipid at the same time.

BTW, yung i-wheel pede ba natin paliitin na kasing size lang ng mini-cooper?

There's was a gathering of rallye drivers(probably 3 or 4 generations worth, myself included) recently and old photos and stories were shared.

This was one of them.

One of the Conge cars, I'm told.

Pwedeng pwede! kaso papalitan natin ng small "i" yung capital "I"... si wildthing magaling mag scale.

Do you have some more photos of the conge cars?... It would be nice to make a website of it for reference... it will ad to our car culture heritage. Can you get in touch with the owner?... Binky Victa?.... I still recall the first time I saw these beauties in I think the first Transhow held in PICC or was it Folk Arts?... I really love the mid-engined low ride conge... it has a distinct appeal... I also enjoyed sitting inside it... it's really spacious enough for long legged people. I hope we can see some photos of that one. I am not fond of the rally conges - I am more interested in the street versions....

more power!
