I noticed that I am being charged by Autosweep for Skyway rates for my normal route these past week even though I am only passing through grade-level portion of SLEX. Has anyone the same experience?

I've had that happen to me on 4 separate occasions just this year, in a span of 4 months. Complained all four times to customer service hotline. Only 1 was acknowledged as an error and they refunded the difference back. The other 3 was not, for whatever reason. Didn't bother to contest anymore. Just calling them up on the hotline is a big PITA already. But so far, my other trips after that, which are not too many to begin with, have all turned out ok.

Suggest you call them up immediately if you're inclined to, especially if it happened multiple times already and especially if you are a frequent user of the expressway, sir. Their system is definitely not error-free.

    Thanks Sir for sharing.
I tried to message them through their website.

Received an acknowledgment email, will see how this progresses.

Had a problem today, "invalid tag".

Then for 4 times exit/entry I was told na hindi pa pumapasok yung load daw.

Eh 550 nakalagay na balance ko sa website.

Naka auto debit din pala ko. May similar case kaya?

One cashier told papalitan ko na daw yung sticker. Ugh

It happens sir. Sa motor ko, naka tatlong palit na ako ng sticker. I dont know pero hindi nagtatagal yung RFID ng motor ko. Dumarating yung point na hindi na nababasa sa kahit anong toll exit, ayun, pinapalitan ko na lang.

Well, if you put it this way sir, may batting average is about 80%. The 20% failure does not beat the convenience of not having to fumble around for some bills / loose change. Specially for me that also use my motorcycle to commute along SLEX...

80% !! that's bad! that's one in five failure rate...

well, i can see the convenience of rfid, for motorcyclers.
    but i drive a car.
i am surrounded by bills and loose change, in the various nooks and crannies around me...
also, i prepare the bayad, before the trip.

Well, medyo bad nga, hehehe... But in the event of un-readable tag, ia-abot lang sa teller yung ID pass that came with the sticker, they scan it, and off you go. [emoji4]

    so is it just you?
    what about the other 'cyclers?
    how about cars?
i am wondering... what is it about two wheels, that makes the failure rate that high?

My other riding buddies that have their RFIDs on their bike's windshield dont have that high failure rate... I ride a naked bike, so my sticker is actually on my front wheel fender, prone to debris, and over-punas during bike washes [emoji28]

Not allowed, since the sticker has to be physically inseparable from the vehicle sans destruction. Sa headlight sana ididikit, kaso medyo iba ang contour ng headlight ko na nadedeform yung sticker...

It will help the overall toll gate traffic if everybody is using RFID. It will also force toll operators to improve the RFID scanners.

Akala mo lang yan... Wait for the next statement or 2. Lalabas yan dun and deducted sa balance mo.

Masama dyan kung nagbayad ka ng cash. Doble binayaran mo. Hirapnpa idispute

can these rfid's be sourced just about anywhere, and "re-charged" just about anywhere?
because kasi, baka lumipat lang ang pila from the tollgate to the recharging station.

You can top it thru 7-11, Shell, Petron, SM, touchpay, gcash, paymaya, BPI, credit card. Easiest is the auto-charge enrollment of your credit card
