This is the perfect time na gumanti. Just spread the word na tumitirik ang Innova at Fortuner (via email para mas mabilis ang chismis). So people will avoid it like a bubonic plague. Makisama na rin sana yung mga owners with their testimonials, since wala nang mawawala sa inyo, you already have your units. Very slow sales and bad publicity will force Toyota to be more customer oriented and change its marketing and after-sales tactics. :praning:

sales vultures talaga! they're counting on the ignorance of some fortuner wannabe owners ... grabe panloloko naman yan. they should issue a recall and freeze selling that particular model. kawawa naman yun mga bibili, grabe ang abala na aabutin nila pag nagkataon.

baka magka-side effect naman ito particularly sa fortuner owners na, baka bigla bagsak resale value nyan, kawawa naman yun mga nag-invest na.
accdg. to some posts in this forum, some fortuner owners who experienced the stalling problem are silently selling their units na. if this keeps up and reaches the pessimistic masses, mahihirapan maka-recover ang toyota models na yan. sayang maganda pa naman ...

the best thing to do siguro is to let Toyota address the problem and to let them stop selling the problematic models for the time being, para naman hindi mag-suffer yun mga bibili pa lang. 1.3M eh malaking pera pa din. at least man lang, yun mga gumastos ng ganyan kalaki, hindi na dadaan sa ganyan hassle.

2.7 will be a better option for the Fortuner. Gas consumption also depends on how you drive din eh.

900K, good price for a 2.5 D4D Fortuner. Makes me really happy I got the gas variant instead, but the D4D problems are more of the exception rather than the rule. Probably blame the impurities sa diesel dito.

If the diesel is to be blame sana lahat ng diesel variant tumirik na, yan mga taga toyota pag punta mo casa they will always tell you diesel is the problem but the what is really happening is they dont have a clue of what is the culprit of this stalling incedent.Besides napaka pabaya naman nila if they will sell cars that dont fit on fuel locally. Sabagay mukhang pabaya nga sila.

    Last October, directly from KelSeats

    For Fortuner:
    (1) Full Leather - Php 60,750
    (2) Comb. Vinyl/leather - Php 37,125

At the dealers, they usually get (#2), so that they can profit more by paying less (to KelSeats) and charging the customers almost double the price.

Btw, I heard prices have increased in the last few weeks.

It can be presumed since more profit can earned with it. You can check for yourself. On a seat, the surface area where the /driver passenger comes into contact when seating, is the area of the leather. The vinyl patch would be placed at the back portion of the seat(s).
