Finally! got mine last week [CASH, ACC : leather seats, tail & front light covers, back up sensor] - sinabi ko sa sales agent ko na nagdown ako sa shaw for the same deal (kahit nde naman talaga ako nagdown) ... then the next day sabi nung agen ko na meron daw available na isa sa 2 colors na priority ko ... ung dark grey. so un kinuha ko na

guys, newbie here. Finally, after the long wait, we'll be getting our unit this Friday (Merry Christmas indeed!) Question lang, does changing the horns, installing a decent sound setup and a backup sensor (if it doesn't have one yet) void the vehicles warranty? I'm really concerned about this because we're getting a 2.5 D4D variant and with all the complaints and engine woes that I've read, warranty is all I've got. Mahirap na! Need your feedback/opinion. Thanks!

again: ok lang ba na ikabit yung plates kahit wala pa yung LTO sticker? Sabi kasi nung taga sales eh wala pa daw available sa LTO? Hindi kaya ako malagay sa alanganin?

Should be no problem ikabit ang plates kung wala pa ang sticker. Hindi mo kakalanan na walang sticker ang plates mo. And besides, stickers only tells you if you have registered already.

New plates means naka register ka na. And always bring a copy of your OR/CR in your wallet. You should be fine....

According to previous posts, only the warranty with the part that will be changed is voided and NOT the whole vehicle.

1) Is the line in the Gas variant really that long?

2) I see you have "customised" plate, is this the one that costs Php 15K? Hirap ba mag apply at saan ka nag-apply?

its cost me 20k to have a plate like dat medyo mahal nga pero minsan lang naman yun eh. pogi ng toy mo dapat pogi rin plate no. plz post some of your fortuner.

Mga bro, take care of all the additional accessories electrical installation. Bear in mind that most functions in your ride is with electronics and can be interrelated. A short circuit or a "trial and error" installation might ruin your ride electronics which is expensive to repair/replace if it's not under warranty.
I have chanced to talk to a Starex owner who've experienced an ABS alarm/indication a day after the car alarm was installed on his ride by a car accessories shop. When he brought his ride to the dealer to check it, he was advised that the ABS module got damaged due to a short circuit caused by the alarm installation. The casa ruled it out of warranty kasi sa labas daw sya nagpa install ng alarm that caused the problem with ABS. He told me he has to pay around 43K-45K to fix the problem kasi papalitan daw ABS module and will take sometime kasi it will be ordered abroad.
So mga bro, ingat sa mga modification nyo para di madagdagan mga worries nyo sa Fortuner nyo....

i try to have a full tank with unleaded gas my previous reading if 68km, its now 308 so the total km i drove is about 240 km for a full tank. its cost me around P2,000. its this normal ( the gas consumption) any one ?

I claimed my unit from my dealer 3 days before Christmas. The odometer reading was already 80+. I spent around PhP2000 for a full tank of shell Diesoline. After travelling around 550Km over the weekend. My fuel consumption is approx 10.2Km/L. 50/50 City and Highway driving.
The tire pressure from the dealer was 31, I reduced it to 29psi and the ride significantly improved.

For those who have 2.7 Gas variant..

Ano Fuel gamit nyo?, pa karga sana ako petron XCS, kya lang nung pag open ng gas tank me nakalagay na sticker "unleaded fuel only" so unleaded pina karga ko.

Correct me, if I'm wrong, but all the fuels being sold are all unleaded. It is their octane ratings or RON that differs. A higher RON gives a higher performance like the Velocity, Vortex, etc.
