my dad just bought one the other day in the newly opened Toyota Bicutan and got it the following day. Powerful engine I must say. Ride is pretty much the same as the Toyota 4Runner in the US.

sa 2.7G meron sa gitna... kse alam ko ung sa mga D4d, ung stick pra sa 4x4 ung nkalagay instead of the cupholders... ewan ko ha :D ano nga ba mga fortuner owners?

I guess what he means is that portion right below the passenger aircon vents (near passenger door).

Yup! All RP units don't have the passenger pull-out cupholder under the ACU vent.

I plan to get nga a pull-out cupholder for the passenger side, once it's locally available, eh. I use the center console cupholder to stash my cellphone, kasi.

Maybe i am wrong, but my hunch is that pic was or similar to the pic i told you before in the other thread on FOrtuner also, The one i mentioned that this is a diesel and not gas variant after noticing the rpm red line threshold of 4500rpm...

hehee... yeah a little over 24 hours... no in house insurance .. no "mandatory" crap... 1st customer for Bicutan as well... hi hi hi...

not sure of the exact date of opening though... the people are still green so there were some delays in paper work... but nonetheless... they were very accomodating

Went to Toyota Bicutan sabi na agente more than 100 na ang pila sa fortuner. when he gave me the price list gulat ako merong new model "PRERUNNER" - price is P 1.047 million. i ask for the brochure but he said wala pa raw coming pa. ANONG MODEL KAYA ITO?

AFAIK, the PreRunner is one of the variants of the USDM Tacoma.

wala!? the hilux has a passenger side cupholder, bakit walang cupholder ang fortuner!?

has anybody heard a rattle sound coming from the passenger side airbag? but if you press the airbag cover, the rattle would go away.

*knight23: Can you take a pic of the passenger cupholder for the HiLux? Is it located below the ACU vent, at the right front passenger side? I wanna compare if it's the same. Might just get a Hilux cupholder and snap it into the Fortuner...

No rattling yet on my unit...

Is the SRS indicator light flashing continuously on your dash? If yes, it may mean there's something wrong with the airbag... If not, the rattling may mean that there's a loose item in the airbag box. Just have it checked at your dealership on your next maintenance check, to be sure.

Yeah... I got mine with no freebies too.

Konting tiyaga na lang... I hear the allocation for RP has been increased. Hopefully, a lot more units will be arriving by August.

Checked out the Hilux pull-out, right side cup holder, same size and color as the fortuner's. Dealer said they don't have stock but will inquire if compatible and if they can order one.
