Brought our new member of the family home, I'm feeling kinda dizzy while typing this reply because of the fumes from the rustproofing (btw guys, i'm sorry if I kinda misled some of the readers about soundproofing... It's just that every vehicle I had rustproofed sounded "newer' or "quieter" for lack of a better word after being treated). The dark gray mica actually looks kinda bluish to me, in fact when parked next to my pick-up truck ('97 Pathfinder) they look like siblings! Btw Boss Vic, please add me to the list. Thanks guys for keeping me company, hope to see you on the road. Will post some pics soon.

The new face lift model of the VIOS is on its way. They are finishing existing inventory, which is doing well. Number 1 siya kasi sa mga Med Rep. The Vios is not subject to price increase on the old model this Oct. 3. Wala pa atang stock. But surely iba yung presyo nung facelift model.

Kasi it defeats the whole purpose of the Fortuner being 'sulit'. It caught the eye of most because of the very low price, pero madami palang hidden payments.

At last...after several harrowing experiences from toyota dealers and a wild tongue lashing from my mother, our Fortuner was released last saturday at 7:30 PM just a couple of days before the supposed price increase! We were forced to bite the IHI & IHF but accesories were not forced on us. Also, to immediately get the unit, we changed our order from the VVT-i model to the 2.5 D4D grade! At least, we can sleep soundly now! We got the Dark Gray Mica Color pala

Kung gusto nyo nearly as good as huper optik, pero priced a lot less, try Solar Gard. Kung same price as huper optik, pwede na V-Kool by Solar Gard. It's way better than 3M, in terms of UV filtering.

allenjo: Sana naghintay nalang kayo for the 4x2 gas. The 4x2 diesel is underpowered.

I beg to disagree. I had mine compared (and confirmed) with my friend who owns a 4x4 and a 4x2D4D. According to him, halos pareho lang ang hatak... pero magkakatalo na lang sa rekta. Also, the 4x2D4D is very economical. I am running my 2nd "fuel test" now; in a few days, I'll post the result. Easy driving.
