mineral oil naman pla ang gamit mo, so guess for removal ang oil filter wrench mo and there is no need to re-use the used oil filter, then any oil filter wrench sa mga hardware shops pwede, basta choose the small adjustable one, just imagine the size of your filter, for installation naman, kahit wala wrench, hand tighten lang yan, yong removal lang talaga ang mahirap...

Guys, I don't know if there's already a previous discussion about this, but what do you think about rubber lifters? I have a 3rd gen toyota vios j with an oem wheels. Pag puno ang sasakyan, sumasayad sa humps. Is it ok to put lifters? Any suggestions? I'm near Evangelista by the way.

How do you achieve that? Ako kapag long drive masaya na kung umabot 10km/L. The usual is just 8km/L city drive. have a 3rd Gen Vios.

well, it depends sa driving habit. baka naman ganito ka kung mag drive... mahaharurot, dapat nasa 2k to 2.5k lang ang rpm when up shifting, more than 90kph ang highway speed ( maintain at least 80kph at 5th gear), too much excess baggage, not correct tire pressure, dirty air and cabin filter, not properly maintained, hmm ano pa ba??? medyo mas mabigat talaga ang chasis 3rd gen vs 1st & 2nd gen but achievable naman without passenger ang 10 to 11km/L city driving as long as you follow all the above mentioned driving habit...

When I had a 3rd gen Vios 1.3 AT, I got an average of 8.5 km/L for city driving. I only get 10 km/L if it's light traffic (i.e. Sunday driving).

On the highway, around 14-16 km/L depending on how fast I go. If I stick to 80 kph, I get 18-20 km/L.

Gasoline has nothing to do with it. All gasolines are pretty much the same. Traffic and driving style are the two biggest factors that affect fuel consumption.

Thanks. Actually, I already did those things you mentioned. Di ko nga pinapaabot 2K ang RPM when shifting and I almost always drive solo. Also checking my tire pressure as well. So I think it has something to do with the car itself. 1 year pa lng ito with less than 10T km sa odo. Nakakainis nga eh.

Nakakainggit nman. I never did achieve more than 12km/L kahit na long drive and I already followed every available measures para maging matipid sa gas pero ganun pa rin. Toyota wasn't able to help at all..

Yup. It's based on full tank using Fuelo app. I tried doing long drive to Subic and and going to Tagaytay and Laguna several times.

    2nd gen 1.3 E ba yan?
If so, talagang tricky timplahin ang clutch nun. My daughter refuses to drive it. Pero kung masanayan mo, nakakatuwa siyang gamitin.

ang interior at exterior. 220k ang asking niya. Sa tingin niyo? Salamat.

if you are concerned if that particular model has issues...
aside from the fact that i find it small inside, i do not know of any.

i recently switched from XCS to shell vnitro+ 2 months ago

dun sa 3rd gen vios thread, i was asking about bakit kaya may 'tok' sounds when i accelerate from 60kph to 80kph

turns out yung octane rating nga nung XCS yung culprit

never heard those 'nakakapraning' sounds since then

The previous owner was using Shell super unleaded, should i continue using it or would you recommend using another?
