Hello. Tanong ko po sana kung anong magandang alternative for Toyota T-IV for 2003 Vios? Sabi sakin okay daw yung Pertua, pero wala kasi akong mahanap na ganyan dito samin eh? Any suggestion po? Thanks.

Ask lang po, plan ko po kasi magpalit ng antenna for vios e m/t.. ok po ba yung sharks fin antenna? di po ba madali malutong or masira yun?

what does "total blackout" mean, po? tumigil ang makina, and all electrical gadgets won't work, as if nanakawan kayo ng baterya?
or, namatay lang ang makina, but all lights still work?

I was thinking the same, pero nakita ko 2014 yung model ng vios nya, so I assumed brand new nya kinuha and 3 years na sya nag ddrive, kaya di ko na kinonsider na nagkamali lang sya ng tantya. But who knows.

If sakaling mangyari ulit yan, irecall mo agad mga last na nangyari, like anung lights yung nag on sa dashboard/clusters, or if may unusual sound. etc. etc. Basta something out of the usual.

Try to check the battery contacts, baka nagdi-disconnect sila. May mga newer models kasi na magshu-shut-off lahat to prevent electrical damage kung sakaling matanggal ang baterya. Not sure though kung ganito ang design ng electronics ng Vios.

Pero given na patay lahat ng electronics mo (e.g. ilaw, etc.), baka battery na yan.

i had such experience in my non-toyota car, some years back. in my experience, my engine kept on going, but everything else was like somebody stole my battery. and this was late at night, in a deserted road devoid of meralco lighting.. i was driving blind!
twice.
i never did find out what caused them, but as they did not occur again until i sold the car years later, and the buyer (a friend) also did not experience it yet...
