When was the last nut and bolt tightening done? Model year of your vehicle? Brake shims maybe dislodge or a small stone is stuck on you brake caliper assembly...

kakatapus ko lang mag pms ng vios trd 2015 model 10k mileage.. pms wala pa 1 week ago... hindi ko sya naririnig before ngayun lang... pag nag miminor ako habang naka drive at inaapakan ko brake ng konte doon sya tumutunog... mga 5 to 10km/h ung speedometer... more than that hindi na tumutunog or if naka idle hindi din tumutunog... rattling sound sya na parang sa ilalim ng dashboard mas dinig ung sound... sa 10k pms kasama doon unh bolt tighthening kaya baka hindi heat shield or muffler... thank you po sa reply....

i have 2015 model vios trd automatic transmission 11k mileage. i now can hear small rattling/vibrating noise while decelerating from 10km/h until zero of course with brake. but casa already check the brake and they are ok naman. nilinis pa nila. the sound disappeared during complete stop or if car run10km/h up. also it only become noticeable upon driving for quiet sometime or if the engine is already warm.... cannot appreciate it while i just started the car and engine is not yet hot.. is there anyone here who have same experience? thank you mga boss...

Cleaned air filter. Last 2 months ago i brought my vios sa Servitek, same symptoms pero not dying ang engine. They loose the connection between the intake and dunsa throttle body nga yata then they started the card at tinggal yung hose from air filter. Tapos inisprayhan ng carb cleaner and ni rebolusyon ng 5k rpm, umokey na ulit noon

Sa officemate ko, parehong pareho kayo ng nangyari.

Pero after dismantling the throttle body from the engine and a thorough clean,okay na uli.

Minsan di kaya ng bast spray lang kasi naiiwan sa loob na residue na parang kulangot.

Yes the spray cannot reach the backside of the butterfly valve.

Kahit malinis ang air filter meron parin nakakapasok... weird lng

first time car owner po mga sir...itatanong ko lang po sana kung ilang liter po ba ang engine saka transmission oil ng toyota vios 2006 model 1.5g a/t..gusto ko po sana na ako ang mag-change oil nito tulad ng ginagwa ko sa motor ko...wala po kasi manual eto eh...wala rin ako mahanap sa google na spec sheet or manual para sa model na eto...

its because of the PCV that bypasses the air filter, don't forget to check/clean it...

Hi guys! Nag bukas check engine light ko kamakailan, nagpabasa ko sa Bosch shop, error code para sa VVT solenoid lumabas. Nag simula to 4 weeks ago pero nasakto sa change oil ko nung panahon na yun, pagkachange oil ko nun, wala pang 1km na takbo ko nawala CEL. Pero bamalik siya not long after, 3 week later. Ngayon kakapalit ko lang sakanya, did it myself 3.5k yung pyesa galing sa banawe. May napansin lang ako sa Oil Control Valve mismo nung pinalitan ko, parang may nakita akong opening na parang dahil may pirasong nagcrack-off, inaattach ko pics, di ko alam kung ganyan talaga itsura nung OCV pag tinanggal yung solenoid.

2NZ engine pala, 2006 vios 1.3E.

Inisip ko hindi ko naman sya nasira nung inalis ko solenoid dahil nasa likod naman yang part na yan ng solenoid, ang hila ko palabas.

3.7L for engine oil
Pero sabi sakin 3.5L since pag change oil may natitira talaga sa loob. True enough when i poured exactly 3.7L lampas na sa full.

Meron ako obd2 scanner, pasig maybunga lang ako and araneta cubao on weekends. Pwede natin scan yan. Kung 443 error yan, dali lang gawin.
