Good Day mga boss! Tanong lang po prices ng rear shock and stablink for batman model? They recommend to replace ung rear shock ko and stablink sa harap. Need lang mga boss idea about sa price and kung saan maganda bumili ng parts. Thanks in advance mga boss. God Bless to all.

Rear shocks upto 1.5k each including labor sa banawe (kyb brand)
Stablinks, labor lang mahal dyan since cheap lang bushing.
King pumunta ka man sa banawe, dumiretso ka m7; pagawa ka ng stablinks and other bushings, 2.1k inabot sakin (this includes labor and material na plus lower control arm / suspension bushing), isang gawaan mo na para makatipid ka. Atleast sigurado kang tatagal dahil matigas and matibay yun rubber na ikakabit.

Is it true that you'll be able to save when you have all of them done at the same time? How come it doesn't apply to me? I always get itemized labor cost when having tie rod, rack end, stab link replaced?

nasa galing ng tawaran po yan.
mas madali tumawad kapag suki or repeat costumer.

    btw,
1.5K per shock? tumaas na presyo. my innova's rear shock cost less than 1K each, some time back.

    and yes, i got discount.
left and right, front and rear shocks ba naman...

    Kasama na labor dyan bro
Iirc last year 250 per side shock replacent labor, then 1150 per shock. So baka tumaas na kaya ko nasabi 1.5k Kung pareho gen 1 and gen 2 kabit ng rear shocks, madali idiy yan. 🖒🖒

    tumaas na nga.
kuha ko noon ay less than 1K per, and 2oo bucks labor for each.

    there are lots of ways.

    1. drive at 90 or 85kph
    2. tire pressure a little higher than recommended.

Same price bro lang labor sa shocks IIRC. Re; cheaper shocks, 300 lang difference, so i got the kyb nalang para tumagal.

Since car is turning 12 years old naman this october, naisip ko papalitan nalang din. Whatchathink, mas ok ba yun bagong cv inner cv joint vs old one?

Fellow tsikoteers, close to deciding on getting a Toyota certified pre-owned Vios G. Sa mga nabasa ko, stock tyre size is 185/60 r15. Planning on changing it to gain ground clearance w/o changing mags. Lumalaki na (at bumibigat [emoji16]) 2 anak ko kasi. Checked w/ the dealer & warranty won't be voided daw.

    Option 1: 185/65 r15. Based on tiresize.com I stand to gain 0.8" of clearance.

    Option 2: 205/65 r15. I gain a whooping 1.8"!

Sa mga nabasa ko, option 2 - kung pwede nga sya sa unit na 'to - is not advisable since madami na makro-crompomise like mileage, shocks longevity & overall vehicle stability.

Best ba sa case ko option 1? Is option 2 even feasible for this vehicle?

    TIA sa mga sasagot!

May 3+1 promo si Goodyear itong buwan, BTW.

    Hi mga sir/ma’am,

2015 vios j owner po ako with 35k mileage. For the past 3yrs po nasanay po ako sa pms ng toyota kasi wala po ako alam masiyado sa inner workings ng oto. Naisip ko po sana mag-pms this time outside casa. Pero after back reading mukhang di maganda. Meron po ba kayo recommended place to go sa Taguig? Alam po ba nila what to check kapag sinabi ko magpa-pms service ako?

the casas all have their respective formulas for "pms".
    the non-casas do not.
what you can do, is to inquire what the casa pms job description is, and show that list to the non-casa shop, for them to do.
the assumption is, the non-casa shops "know how to do it".

i suppose, what i am say is, if one does not know anything about cars, casa pms might be the safer way to go.
but if oil chage is all one is after, i may recommend him to the friendly gas station that has an hecho-derecho promo on these.

    i know some folks.
they do oil change at the gas station.
they bring the car over to the casa every 3 oil changes, for "the works".
after the 3 year warranty, of course.

Thanks! That’s actually a great idea. Casa PMS are very expensive. Thanks again!

Yes sir, I went thru the manual and I’ve listed the things to check. I’ll be driving with a child on board. By the way, if ever the break pads need replacing is Bendix a good brand? Should the radiator coolant be drained and replaced or topping up is enough? Thanks!!!

Yun 1st 100k km (or 80k km), pwede top up lang coolant. Tapos every 40k km, drain and replace with pink toyota coolant na.
