^recommended upsizing is maximum +/- 2% difference in circumference. assuming you have stock 195/65R15..

changing to 205/50R17 results in +0.36% difference in circumference..
    - when speedometer reads 100 kph, you are actually travelling at 100.36 kph.
    - when trip meter reads 1000 km, you actually traveled 1003.6 km

changing to 205/45R17 results in -2.78% difference in circumference..
    - when speedometer reads 100 kph, you are actually travelling at 97.22 kph.
    - when trip meter reads 1000 km, you actually traveled 972.2 km

so 205/50R17 would be fine. you just need to do an actual fitting to check the offset..

pag masyado negative offset, tatama ung rim sa upper arm ng suspension. pag sobra positive offset naman, lalabas ung gulong, kapag umulan, puro putik yung tabi ng body.

    things to note:

    - changing to bigger rims results in higher fuel consumption and slower acceleration.. bigger rims are heavier.
    - using low profile tires means less rubber (short sidewall height) which makes a harder ride (less cushioning). you may need to compensate with softer shock absorbers.

    Hello!
I need a replacement for my revo's alternator. Has anybody used the Unipoint brand? If yes, how was it? How long did it last? Is it any better than Ishin Denki? Any other brand that you know of? Your thoughts will be appreciated, thanks!

    Hi,
