Sorry for the OT...
IMHO, tint on the windshield should only be allowed on the top 5 inches.
If the sun is too bright, wear polarized sunglasses. If the sun makes the interior of your parked car hot, use a dashboard sunshade.
I realize that some put windshield tint for privacy. But then, do so at your own risk and don't compensate by dazzling everybody else with non-road-legal headlight bulb upgrades.
Many sites point out that the LTO, in principle, allows a VLT (visible light transmission) down to 30%.... whether or not this is implemented is besides the point. That's just simply too dark. If I were to be generous, I think at worst, the windshield should not be darker than 80% VLT, just enough for UV protection. The front side windows can be no lower than 50% while all rear windows can remain unregulated. My 2c.

I'm currently using a 5000K H11 LED and I had to adjust/lower my beam focus further dahil parang nakakasilaw sa oncoming traffic. Even though I had it aligned right after installing.
I already ordered an Osram halogen para di nakaka abala sa kasalubong![]()
but the resulting risk is not on them.
it's on us, the oncoming traffic!
government should put its foot down:
no to front full windshield tint!
LED upgrade without reflector upgrade is dangerous!
no ifs, no buts.
Simplest and best solution (IMHO) is to remove the front tint.alas,
"it is, perhaps, the most difficult to do, for some car owners."
heh heh. There you go. Can't have your cake and eat it too.heh heh!
"... magpa-tint nga..."
after the tint,
"ang dilim naman! magpa-LED upgrade nga..."
in my experience,
a significant number of LED headlights cause uncomfortable and potentially dangerous glare to oncoming me.Things seem blown out of proportion. For the record, I'm not complaining about my ilaw dahil madilim ang tint. The tint has been there since day 1 (for almost 10 YEARS) ng car pinapalitan ko lang kasi deteriorated na. Ang complain ko lang is ung nilagay ng shop na sa tingin ko ung pinakamababang klaseng halogen na yata just to save him some bucks. So, I'm asking everyone for a good brand ng LED to improve the quality ng ilaw. And guys please take note this is a PROJECTOR and NOT just the stock headlight. So, installing LED shouldn't be a problem. Also, I tried na din palitan ng LED ang stock headlight years ago but instantly removed kasi sabog talaga mas maganda prin stock halogen. Now, I'm also asking specifically the ones using Vland kung paano proper adjustment. I know may iniikot sa likod nya but I'm hesitant that I may rather mess up.Nyak nyak. Typical. Hehehe
But I appreciate your opinions guys. They are significant but not the precise answer to my query. Thank you.
Na try ko na Led Light Brand:
1. GPNE - Pricey pero sulit na, may liwanag talaga buhay dito, 3 years napundi but may replacement naman (5 years warranty)
Talked to a few retrofitters pala last year. Its in the design daw ng projector. it is a halogen projector afterall. i think garyQ said something around those lines din.
Which reminds me, my cousin had those vland type headlights in his vios before. Used it for about a month before selling it and went back to standard headlights and G projectors.

Kung alignment talaga ang issue, find a white wall then check.
At HID Retrofit in Ortigas ako nagpa adjust nang aim for our vehicles a few times na, may measurement in increments yung wall nila so sakto lagi yung alignment. Likely may available din silang bulbs for your headlight assembly.
For the 2KD, nag upgrade ako to 100/90W halogens with a Narva harness kit, ako lang nagkabit. Still on stock reflectors.
Malayo pa din ang 100/90Ws on lumens output versus plug-and-pray LEDs/HIDs on reflectors - pero hindi siya sabog, better in bad weather for me, and hindi gaano nakaka eye strain
have to make sure that the reflectors used are in agreement with the bulbs used.
OT.
ang dapat sitahin, in dr. d's opinion,
blacked tail/break lights (almost non-functional in broad daylight!),
blinking break lights (kung hindi LED?) ,
glaring headlights at night,
full-tint front windshield,
using foglights at night (in ncr, at least),
glaring bumper lights! these are sometimes more glaring than the car's factory headlights!
non-use of car lights at night.

For those with 2KD and A/T, how many km before you changed the following:
1. Tires
2. Front brake pads
3. Rear brake shoes
