Just had my Innova 2013 VVTi drain and refill ATF * 32,800km odo. Maganda pa yung atf na na drain at mabango pa yung amoy.

Bought ATF at Toyota North Edsa * 507 pesos / liter and had it done at Dallas services center Tomas Morato. Labor is 280 at pinaubos ko yung 3 liters kse may tumapon na konti. Sakto lang naman nung sinukat. Btw, yung pag drain inantay ko na wala ng tumutulo bago ko pina refill.

So far maganda ang takbo at smooth ang shifting. Safisfied!

Decided. di ko muna papa engine decarb for 25k PMS or linis ng aircon. super lamig pa naman.

At just in case papa engine decarb ko to e pag mga nasa 50K PMS na. at sa labas. i'm sure di naman nila yun mahahalata (for Warranty purposes) pati linis ng aircon (May recommended na magaling from Innova group at home service pa :D )

DIY mo na lang yung cabin filter cleaning/replacement, indicated sa manual pano buksan.

confirm ko lang kung around php500+ ang toyota t-iv ATF sa dealer? madugo pala pag mag dialysis, drain and fill na lang ako at 30k, then in next 15k-20k after

Hi Sirs! Consult ko lang my 2013 Innova. Mahina (almost walang lumalabas) aircon ko papuntang floor. Pwede ba cia i-DIY repair lang?

Likewise, gusto ko sana i-DIY lang din engine wash, ano mga basic considerations? I know I need to cover those electrical/sensor parts pero hindi ko sure which ones.

Can you share me at least a diagram ung mga dapat takpan? TIA..

Yung Innova natin does not have the ducting parts (circled in green) required for the air to reach the foot well. Meron yang hangin, kaso nakalat lang sa likod ng dashboard. In other words, tinipid ng Toyota.



As for engine wash, it's a Diesel. There's practically nothing to break in there. Wag mo lang babaran ng tubig masyado sa fuse/relay box area, alternator, and yung fuel injector driver (nasa passenger-side firewall). If you have to use a pressure washer, use the wide setting at paulanan lang yung engine bay. The electrical connections are weather-proof so no worried there.

bro, meron sa WIKIHOW. sinundan ko lang siya. camry nga lang yung sample vehicle pero same din naman ng sa Innova.

kakapalit ko lang ng sakin, replacement filter lang binili ko. Nikko brand, P300.

P900 yung OEM sa casa.

Wow, thank you very much I was so enlighten, Sir! I barely use kc ung vent sa floor akala ko defective na & ang naging comparison ko is sa altis nmin w/c is malakas naman.

Re: Engine wash. Now, mas kampante ako hindi ko masisira makina ko hehe. Pero siguro extra pre-caution nlng din I'll just cover those parts w/c I think need to be protected from moist/water.

kapapalit ko lang ng engine oil, oil filter and fuel filter ng innova sa bahay. 25k pms DIY lang. papano e napakarami pa rin ang nakapila sa caravan ng toyota sa amin.

on my own assessment sa fuel filter, mukhang pwede pa iextend up to 40k kms. well, depende naman sa quality ng diesel sa fuel station.

yup nilinisan ko na rin yung plastic canister kahit na hindi madumi....actually may mga "metal" shavings ako nakita sa bottom ng canister. walang mud-like deposits kumbaga. must be from the lining of the fuel tank, fuel station, etc.

hindi naka bolt on yung plastic canister kundi naka "slide" lang sa metal bracket. mayrong slot kumbaga yung canister. screwdriver lang ang ginamit ko para luwagan at higpitan yung "ring" ng canister.

for the oil filter, may strap wrench ako na sinasaksakan ng ratchet wrench or breaker bar.

Our family has a Toyota Innova J Diesel bought last Dec 2013.
The stock Oriental 68ah battery is still ok but I plan to replace it.

May solar light set kami na nasira na ang 40ah solar battery.
So instead of buying a new solar battery, gamitin ko na lang yung Oriental 68ah
then buy a new battery for the Innova.

Saan ba makabili ng same spec na Oriental battery 68ah ?
We live near West Ave, Quezon City.

Or what other battery brand/ah do you recommend ?

Sir try replacing it with Amaron battery mas maganda daw ito kesa sa Motolite. Hindi ko pa na try but marami nagsasabi and plannig nto replace mine pag nag dead na battery ko. Hope this helps and madami na din sa market ang amaron battery sa OLX meron din nagbebenta.

May tulo po sa ilalim ng dashboard ko sa passenger side sa tabi ng aircon. Nung una barado yung drain tube, pero nagawan ko ng paraan and dumadaloy na yung tubig sa drain tube palabas. Kaso ngayon kapag full blast aircon ko, nandun pa din yung tulo sa passenger side so talagang madumi na aircon ko. Nagpa-quote ako sa isang aircon specialist, 6k daw ang cleaning nila. Dun sa mga nagpalinis na ng aircon nila, ano po ang price range ng cleaning sa inyo? Tama lang po ba quote sa akin?Innova 1st gen po.

Meron po ba kayo na marerecommend na aircon specialist around Pasig, sa side ng Ortigas ave or Marikina area?

Wow iba iba nga, sa akin 46,000km na, ano ba ang dapat. Ang goal naman is tumagal ang ating Transmission. Kung drain and fill ba ayos na ba yun up to 80,000km at drain and fill uli.

Di ko na pala ginalaw ATF ko, sabi kasi sa manual, every 40,000 inspect lang, unless driven at a certain speed for a number of hours which I never did. Tsaka mapula pa yung fluid. So tipid pako as of now

Ilang km na odo mo sir?

In my case 32k+ pa lang nag drain and refill nako just last sunday. Di ko na inaantay na umitim pa atf kse mas malaki gastos.

Planning to drain and refill again at 50k-60k odo.

507/L na atf x 3L + 280 labor.. ok na kesa antayin kong umitim atf obligado dialysis na yun * 9L kelangan sa dialysis.. think about it sir..
