Hello tsikoters.. tanong lang po..

meron na ba satin nagpakabit ng ATF cooler? ang purpose nito is to protect the ATF from overheating thus protecting the transmission from damage. Plano ko sana install sa aking 2013 Innova G AT. May alam ba kayo na shop na gumagawa nito?

in stock configuration, meron na nito ang innova. ang heat exchanger ng ATF nasa radiator, built-in ito. iinit lang naman ang A/T during spirited runs o nasa race driving conditions. downside lang ng built-in ATF cooler sa radiator ay kapag hindi na maganda cooling system mo, damay pati ATF.

mga car racing shop, kayang kaya nilang mag fabricate ng ganito. kung desidido ka na talagang magpakabit, hanapin mo yung may thermostat, para hindi all the time, flowing yung ATF sa oil cooler, may certain temperature din kasi na dapat I-maintain yung ATF. tandaan, oil pa din ang ito, kapag wala sa operating temp, malapot, meaning hindi ganun kaganda yung flow nito sa tranny.

dalasan mo na lang ang pagpapalit ng ATF, yung iba, 10K kms less sa recommended mileage o every 3yrs. mas mura magpalit ng ATF kesa magpalit ng transmission.

wala yata... ang silip ko, solid axle ang rear, at parang walang CV joint sa dulo..

tnx dr. d. na shoot kc yung right side ng innova ko sa medyo malalim na side ng road. pag tingin kp sa gulong, masyadong naka tabingi. kaya naisip ko na baka kailangan ng camber correction.

Bungo ang likod ng innova, so hindi gagalaw yan ng ganyan. mahirap rin mabengkong ang axle.

Harapan lang brother ang may camber at wheel alignment. Nagpa-camber na ako nyan nung magpalit ako ng 4 na gulong sa Golance.

AFAIK, mixing 2t into the fuel is for lubrication as well as protection of injectors, as crdi have higher pressure and tight tolerances.

One of hilux forum sites recommending it, the water is one that can cause havoc to the injectors, others like blocked oil pick up that destroy injector seals.

Normal po ba ito mga sir? Napansin ko lang na medyo malangis itong hose na ito na nakakabit sa air filter hose yung isang dulo. Para saan po ba ito? 2500 kms pa lang Innova J ko. Salamat and Happy New Year!

tingin ko sir need mo na mag palagay ng OCC Oil catch can. Nakakasira yang blow by gas lalo na sa turbo.

First off, lets explain how catch cans work. The purpose of a catch can is to take what is being sent out through the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve, and separate the actual oil that may come out, collect it, and send just air and vapors back to the intake manifold, as opposed to the PCV system sending both air, vapors, and oil back in the intake manifold. The goal is to avoid getting oil into the intake manifold. Oil is meant to lubricate, and unless you drive a diesel, you should not be burning it in any way.

For turbocharged cars, the purpose of an oil catch can is incredibly important. The can should work to prevent blow by of oil, which could lead to dangerous situations of coating couplers, causing them to slide off under boost, coating the fins inside an intercooler which drastically decreases its efficiency, and ultimately end up cooking inside your turbo, contributing to a nasty condition of what is called “oil coking” where the oil turns to a charcoal like substance in the turbo over time. In addition, you don’t want any blow by on your pistons either.

Eh kakabasa ko dito, usual is 33 - 35 psi. Tama lang ba yun? Usual na ba na pagkalabas sa CASA eh sagad talaga ang PSI ng mga gulong?

yes. for some reason, cars' tires are overinflated upon release. maybe they overinflate them intentionally, in the belief that the cars will sit around for several weeks. by the time it is delivered to the buyer, the pressure would have (hopefully) settled down..
