just curious mga sirs, not sure kung naitanong na ito. Since by January 1 implemented na dapat yung euro 4, ano gagawin ng govt sa mga oto na hindi pa euro 4 compliant? Ano din mangyayari sa innova (or any other older diesel vehicles) kapag kinarghan ng euro 4 diesel?

Euro IV fuel (Diesel or gasoline) is compatible with all engines that are Euro IV or lower (so that includes Euro II).

    Wala ka dapat ikabahala.

The Adventure is low-tech, really. But don't get me wrong... It's still a venerable workhorse. But for performance, amenities, and passenger comfort, the Innova wins by a mile.
my opinions , may mga places na di kayang puntahan ng mobilio and ertiga na kayang kaya ng innova and na try ko adventure sumakit katawan ko di maka relax sa loob esp. sa 3rd row and just imagine 7 medium built kmi sakay sa adventure yun spare tire sa ilalim 3x sumabit going to tagaytay, sa innova relax na relax lahat kmi kaya innova e a/t kinuha ko sayang yun mobilio mababa kasi ground clearance nya

    wala naman.
    the law is not retro-active.

and wala naman. the fuel manufacturers say they have modified the formula to compensate for the loss of the traditional lubricant..

for ordinary driving, all of these can do it. the vast majority of our roads are built decently enough, even for sedans.
kung mamumundok naman tayo, wala sa apat na yan ang makakabalik nang buhay.

kapag sadyang inabuso ang sasakyan, ay hindi tumatagal at nasisira.

buyer should always consider the type of service under which the car will be used.., when choosing what to buy.

You mean the steering wheel controls? Their functional and it keeps your hands on the steering wheel rather then reaching out for, say, the radio controls. Probably additional safety advantage. I'm used to my altis' steering controls that I always have my thumb try to navigate the non-existent controls on my innova e. If you can afford to, go for the higher variant. For practicality, the E model is sufficient enough.

Not so for fuses and protective devices doc. There is a method by which different protective devices are sized depending on the load. For simple electrical loads, the rule of thumb is to size the fuse or breaker 25% higher than the rated load. Breakers and fuses allow for a certain period of time higher load amps than their rating. I hope Im not getting too technical here.

diesel: Php18 per liter. San ka pa?
City driving: 9-10 km/liter (not bad)
Long drive: 14-16 km/liter (decent enough for me)

    but of course!
i was refering to parts that work for long periods of time, not fuses and the like, that are designed to commit hara-kiri.
i had in mind, wires, relays, switches, etc. .. parts that we would like to last "forever" in ordinary use.

if you will use the vehicle sparingly, then vvti will probably be fine.
(but, in my opinion, if 2 or 3 weeks a year lang ang gamit ninyo, wag na kayong bumili... mag-arkila na lang kayo.. wala pang maintenance aches..)
you need to use the D4d more, for you to recoup its initial higher acquisition cost vis a vis vvti..
by my calculations, i drive my D4d innova about 12,000 km a year. gas bills alone, i reckon i save about 100,000 pesos every 4 years, compared to if i used the vvti.
maintenance-wise, the D4d uses a bit more oil every oil change. but it does not have sparking plugs nor hi tension circuits to maintain.

what about the reputedly high costs in case of breakdown of diesel engines? i wouldn't know... mine hasn't broken down in over 10 years.
but "what if" ? well, you can live in expectant fear, expecting the worst, or you can just drive and enjoy, and "let tomorrow take care of itself".

and then, diesels have more torque and do take to akyatans more easily than gas engines. and they are also reputed to be more water-resistant than gas engines..

but i will agree.. diesel engines probably spew out more pollutants than gas engines.. and they are noisy!

    good luck po.

If you plan to sell it after 5 years ,go for diesel, on the other hand, if you want to keep it for more than 10years, gas na yan. maintenance cost for diesel engines increase over time.

Better wait for the new model sir. new engines (2.4 GD diesel / dual VVTI gas).
The new innova looks like the suzuki ertiga at a certain angle.

Yeah, if you're not in a hurry, just wait for the next gen. Expect, however, that the price will be higher, trim for trim, between the current and new gen.

If they will sell the current model at a huge discount,- buy it. Sadly, they still offer the standard P45K discount so nganga...

Baka kung may huge discount na,- wala na ang variant, kulay at conduction sticker number ending na gusto mo,- nganga pa rin...

The new model definitely is going to have less features and definitely more expensive. New engine and body though....

IMO,- if huge discount on current model,- and I can get what I want,- I'll go for it. Wala lang ang "yabang ng bagong oto" factor,- but I get real value for my money.... Like I got a huge discount on my last purchase with the loaded unit that I want..... Well, that's just me.

Anyway bro,- whatever juggles your jiggle....
