3yrs or upto 100,000 kms whichever comes first ang warranty sa Toyota.

it should be. and don't agree with them when they say it's part of the wear and tear and therefore, not warrantied! whoever heard of a cross-joint failure (if that indeed is the problem) after only 5 months? why, many cars die of old age before that joint ever fails...!

I use Castrol semi synthetic because the auto shop carries Castrol. Replaced just one tire and used the spare for the other side. Bought Yokohama A drive same as the current ones in the car, around P 4,100.

1.) I'd pick Mobil Delvac MX or DGU for mineral oil and Motul CRDi or Mobil Delvac 1 for FS oil.
2.) You could try GT Radial, it's cheap but of good quality but my personal preference is Bridgestone tyres. HTH.

no, i haven't tried to paint an aluminum stepboard. but i have tried to paint aluminum parts. the (ordinary) paint just won't stick. you can practically flake it off using your fingers after it dries.. i don't know what paint to use.. good luck.

Ask ko lang if kasya sa Innova natin ang 17 x 7jj Offset 45 with 225/50 R17 tires?

kasya siya paps. yan na maximum offset na para sa innova natin kung 7" lapad. pero minsan kasi, nasa design ng mags mismo kahit na pasok sa range ng offset. mas mainam kung ittest fit mo. problema lang naman ay yung sa likod o during full turn kung masyadong malapad at pasok ang offset, check mo sa likod kung tatama sa lower shocks

regarding naman sa tire spec of choice, saktong sakto siya, more than 1% larger in circumference lang siya sa stock wheel set ng innova, ibig sabihin, hindi mo na kailangang magpa wheel alignment (toe and camber) para icorrect suspension mo at same pa din reading the speedometer

currently using 18x8 40 offset, 225/45/18 tires

Good day Innova Owners!

Mga Sirs, question lang po regarding the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve ng innova. Does this valve need the vacuum created by the intake to operate? meaning vacuum-triggered ba siya? Or is it a simple one-way relief valve na gagana at magbubuga ng blow-by gases kahit walang vacuum from the intake side? I'm planning to make changes sa oil catch tank ko, and it will affect the vacuum created by the intake.

tama ka sa 2nd statement mo sir. one way valve siya. ang tamang connectivity ng oil catch can ay sa pagitan ng PCV to intake manifold.

kahit walang vacuum from intake manifold marerelease pa din blow-by gases from the engine through the PCV, kaso during part load or acceleration, yung vacuum created by the intake manifold sa PCV, mas nakakatulong na matanggal agad blow-by gases sa makina. kung walang vacuum na tutulong, hihintayin pa ng makina na humigit sa atmospheric pressure yung blow-by bago marelease.

dalawa kasi daanan ng blow-by gases ng makina; isa na yung PCV to intake manifold (dito nilalagay OCC), pangalawa yung breather (valve cover to intake tube connection)

Mine at 41K+ still has a few hundred or even thousand km before getting to the tread wear indicator. I just decided it was time to replace because 6 years na.

My yokohama only lasted 35k because i run it at 28psi pressure. Lesser ksi ang tagtag at that pressure. I do tire rotation every 7500km.
