kadalasan bouncy ride paps, kapag nadaan sa uneven road surface, parang hindi stable yung sasakyan lalo na kung medyo matulin, at ang tagal tumigil ng pag bounce kapag dumadaan sa humps. ganito feeling kapag sirang sira na siya.

visually check mo sir yung shocks, kung may oil leak, pasira na siya. dun tinitignan sa may shaft, oil seal kasi yun, kapag busted na, significant yung dami ng oil sa shaft o tumutulo na sa body ng shocks mismo.

Ganyan din pakiramdam ko before ako magpalit lalo na nung dumaan ako sa NLEX viaduct pulilan going to san simon and bounce talaga akala ko lilipad na kami.

Ano po nangyari sa front shocks nyo in the two year life span? Tumigas po at nagging super bumpy ang ride? Ilang Km na po?

Parang ang bilis po kasi. Buti nasira sila during sa warranty period nyo.

nag leak po yung fluid both shocks sa front. Nauna po replaced yung pasenger side then after two months yung driver side naman ang pinalitan.

well, i got lucky.. i replaced my 2005 model's shocks, only last year.. after over 80K km..

i replaced mine with the cheapest kybs i could fine. white body. i found them initially "too hard", and i thought i was dealt fakes. but someone here said that the genuine kybs are indeed hard.
perhaps, you can try the more expensive models this time, so's you can ovoid the "too hard" syndrome..

I also changed the rear shocks of my innova. Cost is 900 for original ones(also kyb branded). Bought it cruiser sucat

sir, where do you source your OEM shocks? is it KYB or Tokiko?

time for my change oil na. Last time ginamit ko is Shell Helix HX7. Parang mas sluggish takbo ko compared doon sa FS oil na CASA. Ano pa ba pwedeng alternative?

Diagnostic tool for toyota Innova.
Meron ako nito... I ordered from Hong kong... Na try ko na sa Innova at gumana naman. Standby lang ngayon sa cabinet. hehehehe

OBD2 is not compatible for our Innova.

Bumping this topic...
If OBD2 is not compatible with our Innovas, then what is? (OBD1??)
Where else can we buy the decoder? (aside from the HK source as posted by kristine123)

Eto yung device na isasaksak sa OBD2 port.


Eto yung App sa iphone called "Dash Command" to read all engine parameters from the OBD2 port ng sasakyan.
Meron pa iba ibang app na available at pwede din sa mga nagpalit na ng head unit. Bluetooth or USB connection lang, ok na.


This is not the Innova. Pero yan yung OBD2 port sa ibang sasakyan.

ANG TANONG: May nakagawa na ba nyan for INNOVA?

I'm currently using seaoil unleaded. But I also use caltex with techron every 4 full tanks of seaoil to clean the injectors.
