I went to the dealer para ipaestimate ang gagawin sa innova
And when I saw the estimate it totaled to 38k++
including the Timing belt replacement and engine decarbonizing and other stuffs
iniisp ko bakit pati paginspect ng lights,brake etc. may labor ka pang babayaran na 1.7k
And napaisp ako kung bakit madami parin bumibili ng adventure at crosswind

Nagpaduplicate na ko once sa mall, yung plain metal key costs P150, yung rubber yung handle naman is P200. Di ko lang matandaan yung name nung shop pero sila yung gumagawa din ng keycards.

Ok naman yung workmanship at quality. I had no problems with so far. 2 years ko na gamit yung duplicate.

Ako dati nagpaduplicate sa mr.quickie 200pesos
ayos naman sa pagunlock and lock
pero sa ignition ayaw naman 1year na
tinatamad lang ako ibalik sayng 200 ko dapat 30 lang

Make sure yung thickness ng duplicate key na gagawin ay same thickness ng original. Mas matigas na bakal, mas maganda. Napansin ko kasi yung pina-duplicate ko last year, pumapalya na sa ignition ngayon. Mas manipis ang bakal nya so nade-deform sa katagalan.

would you like to enumerate here the different activities and parts that 38K will cover?
then maybe we can see if you can do away with some of them..
offhand, i'd get that decarbonizing out of the list. you can do that yourself by doing a stretch in the expressway at high speed..

ignorance can be a very powerful tool.. as is satisfaction..
i am confident, the satisfied crosswind owners are also asking why the innova is selling well...

Advie and crosswind is selling well because of its simplicity., less electronics, less things to go wrong down the road.

Malaki matitipid mo kung sa labas mo na ipapagawa. kalimutan mo na yang mga inspect lights, etc. pampabango lang yan ng estimate. hehehe. di mo rin kelangan ang decarbonizing (ayon ke dr. d) at engine cleaning (kung di ka maselan).

actually, nasa 3-4k lang iirc yung timing belt kit for innova (belt, bearing, hydraulic tensioner). tsaka within 30 minutes tapos na ang replacement. dahil di na kelangan kalasin hanggang sa crank pulley.

regarding sa fuel filter, oil at air filter pwede mo na yan ipagawa sa kahit sinung mekaniko. yung air filter kayang kaya mo yan actually. sa fuel filter naman, screwdriver lang kelangan mo. that is, kung ok lang sayo madungisan. yung oil filter at oil e sige sa mekaniko mo na lang. hehe

yung A/C e sa well-known shop sa labas ng casa ka na lang siguro. kung casa, it is still your decision. pero yung items stated above e malaki matitipid mo sir if ever.

Hi, may naka-experience na ba dito ng leaking water pump sa Innova nyo? Unti-unting nauubos na ung coolant sa amin eh.

Magkano kaya mag-pareplace nito sa casa? or may mai-rerecommend ba kayo na outside shop for this job?

Our unit is gasoline engine.
