its safe once you use a aftermarket Relay wiring kit...the stock relays for the headlights is just rated to the stock wattage of the HL Bulbs.... same goes for the Horn OEM relay...Nope youll have to get ceramic plugs since the oems are just hard plastic... ;)

Sirs, anong gamit niyong size ng baterya sa inyong Innova both gas and diesel? 2sm or 3sm?

Good day Innova owners. I had my first brand new manual Innova E Diesel last February 2013. I have no problem with everything except that I am bothered if is it normal na mataas talaga ang rev niya? When I maintain yung rpm niya sa 2k, nasa 70kph lang ang speed niya. When I am running at 100kph, nasa almost 3k ang rpm. Running on 120kph, nasa 3,300 na banda ang rpm niya. I can't imagine if I want to try and push it to 140, baka masira na makina ko? Is that normal sa Innova? O meron pinapagawa dito para ma improve siya. I was told Montero sports runs less than 2k rpm maski nasa 150kph na ang speed nito. Though I usually have 13km per liter fuel consumption pag mag sctex ako.

Ironic isn't it?, the A/T D4D only has 4 speed and yet at 100kph rpm hovers only at 2000+, the manual has 5 speed yet do the same at 3000rpm hence the engine noise. Also when you reach 80kph for the A/T, you will feel the surge of speed going to 140kph.

5 years po, 51k mileage, hindi naman strong yung amoy nya, at saka di sa akin ito before, sanay ako kasi sa diesel. hehehe

For the D4D, "D" position is more than sufficient even for steep inclines, however steep downhill, i do use the lower gears for engine braking assist. Use only distilled water, i.e. wilkins for washer fluid. No residues, no clogging. Also use this if you must add water to your coolant, never use tap water to prevent rust formation and deposits or even 'lumot'.

Ok lang yung observations mo sa speed against rpm. Ganyan din sa akin. Montero's engine have higher power and torque kaya it can be fitted with higher gear ratios. Ive done 140 kph on my innova and yes maingay na ang makina. D ko na matandaan pero nasa 3.7K rpm na yata. 4300 rpm naman ang redline.

Ask lang mga papas regarding sideskirts, di kaya mangalawang yung ilalim na part na covered ng sideskirt kapag tumagal kasi siksikan lang ng dumi?

Magkaiba po kasi ang gear ratios ng 5M/T at 4A/T ng innova D4D..also how the D4D A/T engine is tuned. notice the difference in terms of max torque(see technical specs).

D4D A/T has 260*1600-2400rpm
D4D M/T has 200*1,400-3,200rpm

*Max Torque info of Innova D4D A/T and M/T are from toyota motors philippines

Sir, kindly check your manual for the replacement of sparkplugs... for OCI, mineral oil shall suffice the 5k interval.

AFAIK every 40K kms ang palit ng spark plugs as per users manual, pero CASA advise to replace it every 10K PMS. for 5K OCI, you can stick to TGMO

On regular use, halos wala naman yan difference in terms of performance. but when subjected to extreme conditions (e.g. long drives, high revs, etc etc) dun may advantage ang semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oils. Not much on performance but more on engine protection.
