On regular use, halos wala naman yan difference in terms of performance. but when subjected to extreme conditions (e.g. long drives, high revs, etc etc) dun may advantage ang semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oils. Not much on performance but more on engine protection.

ok sir.. cguro semi-synthetic ang ipapalagay ko..meron bang semi-synthethic oil ang casa? 5K PMS pa lang kse yung sakin at libre pa yung labor sa casa..

maraming salamat sir.. tsaka ano ba difference ng regular mineral oil sa semi-synthethic in terms of performance?

pag breaking-in period much better ang mineral oil, di ko lam kung saan ko nabasa sa tsikot or bitog.

Good day Innova owners. I had my first brand new manual Innova E Diesel last February 2013. I have no problem with everything except that I am bothered if is it normal na mataas talaga ang rev niya? When I maintain yung rpm niya sa 2k, nasa 70kph lang ang speed niya. When I am running at 100kph, nasa almost 3k ang rpm. Running on 120kph, nasa 3,300 na banda ang rpm niya. I can't imagine if I want to try and push it to 140, baka masira na makina ko? Is that normal sa Innova? O meron pinapagawa dito para ma improve siya. I was told Montero sports runs less than 2k rpm maski nasa 150kph na ang speed nito. Though I usually have 13km per liter fuel consumption pag mag sctex ako.

Better to have it check to casa for ease of mind. Mine is d4d a/t and at 2k rpm im already running at 100kph. My fc is about 13 to 14 km/l fc when running at city (min traffic) plus nlex/sctex.

sir.. tinawagan na ako kahapon ng SA ko.. dumating na raw yung pina order kong engine under cover pero sa saturday after holy week ko na papakabit kse sarado raw sila umpisa bukas hanggang sabado..

i ordered and bought abroad OEM brakes, shock absorbers (complete set front and rear) ang laki ng menos thankfully libre yun shipping kaya mura talaga.

I tried bringing the parts sa casa Toyota Manila bay and Toyota Abad Santos para ipakabit

kaso they declined saying na since hindi sa kanila galing yun parts they can't guarantee me if may backjob.

I told them i understand the circumstances still they declined na ilagay yun dala ko na parts.

Now ang problema ko kung saan ko dadalhin, anyone here change their brakes and shocks outside casa?

San shop kayo pumunta? and sana they allow customers bringing in their own parts.

You can bring it to any reputable shops like Rapide, Servitek, Bridgestone etc as long as they have a hydraulic press for the shocks...Replaced my shocks 2 mos ago at Servitek kasi malapit sa amin...they can service your brakes too

ganyan talaga. manual trans yan. wala tayong magagawa. ganyan din ang akin. 8 years na, wala namang problema. just don't go to the redline (it's on your tachometer).

Your 3K RPM at 100KPH for a 2.5L Diesel is a bit off, bro. Are you sure you are in the highest gear, bro?

Usually, at around 2K RPM (and of course highest gear), 100KPH na ang takbo... but then again, I am speaking of a diesel ride other than the MS...

ganun talaga sir yung manual , peru kaya naman mag 160kph kahit M/T , ako napag 165kph ko *4500 rpm ,at sa temperature hindi naman nag babago yung mga matic ang 3k rpm pa lang eh 160kph , mag kaiba kasi ng gear ratio

I would like to know kung may nagpalit na sa inyo ng tensioner assembly and idler bearing? Mine is a 2005 Innova G.

Sirs, do you have a diagram or a photo showing the serpentine belt and the various components that runs through the serpentine belt such as water pump, alternator, aircon compressor etc.....? TIA.

na mentioned na din yata dito sa thread yung RPM range vs Speed
*100kph 2.5 diesel
M/T approx 2.5k RPM
A/T almost 2k RPM

medyo mataas po yung almost 3k RPM pag 2.5diesel sakto lang dapat halos sa 2.5k iirc.
