I mean practical ba siya or konti lang disadvantage compared to smaller cars, especially sa fuel consumption.

Sir pag ung mga smaller cars with small engine it could go 12-14km/li or even more pag sa vvti cguro around 7km/li or maganda na pag umabot ng 8km/li. You could compute from there. HTH.

good day mga kainnova! noob questions lang po.... first, sa mga A/T Innova users, when driving anong gear ang lagi nyo gamit?steady sa D lang ba gamit nyo, or shifting gears din kayo lets say sa L muna then 2 => 3 => D? second, regarding sa washer fluid, water lang ba gamit nyo or kailangan talaga na washer fluid ang ilagay sa washer fluid tank? TIA

is it manual or automatic? if your concern is about your would be fuel expenses, for gas manual ,consumption are as follows: city driving - 7.5 to 8.5 kms/liter while along freeway - 9.5-11 kms/liter

not sure sa gas automatic...is your concern with regards ba sa fuel expenses?

I use wilkins or any distilled water para walang water marks/spot. I do not use dish washing soap, masyadong matapang. Mawawala ang kintab ng sasakyan. I always use D for normal driving except pag overtaking, I go to 3. Minsan I have to shift to L pag masyado ng steep yong incline ng daan para hindi mag back and forth D to 3 to D ang A/T ng innova natin. My 2010 Gas A/T had front shock leak fixed under warranty and has every 10K PMS with my own synthetic oil in Toyota Pasig. Toyota PMS is cheap as long as you dont get those Engine Flush and Gas additive. Try to ask Montero or Stada owners how much they spent for PMS. My gas Innova gets 230 to 280 Kilometers for 40 to 45L full tank of Unleaded gas in Ortigas/Makati traffic.

ako, steady lang sa D. raking the handle somehow defeats the purpose of an automatic trans.
    water works fine with me.

well, you can choose a smaller car that will save you at 30-50% of your gas innova's projected gas expenses. and smaller cars are easier to park.
but smaller cars do offer smaller passenger and luggage space.. and can get uncomfortable in heavy traffic under the baking noontime sun... and offer less vibration and road insulation... and generally offer less protection in the event of an accident..
so, i throw back the question to you. how do you want to spend your trip?
tip: if you are really bent on innova, get the diesel. i once got 18 km/li on the highway..

    Fuel expenses, one of them.
More of general practicality, most of the time kasi, ako lang ang sakay, pero on weekends 2-4, and occasional long trips na full.

2010 and above so far no reports of problem, at least in these forums.

Normal driving "D" lang, kaya nga automatic you don't need to start sa L. Kulang na lang ilagay mo din sa reverse base dun sa arrangement mo hehe joke!
Steep climbing or steep downhill i put it on "L" para hindi kawawa yung brake and engine.

Regarding washer fluid kakaubos lang din sakin, maybe i'll mix distilled water and windshield washer fluid.

is it safe to upgrade the headlight bulb to 100/90w?
naka ceramic plug naba ang headlight ng innova?
does innova have relay installed for its headlights and horn?
