Parang too good to be true ito.....

    Tama ba?

I got this deal mainly bacause of the advices and tips from our experts dito sa tsikot.. tsinaga ko talaga humingi at maghintay ng mga quotations from different dealers at hinabaan ko yung pasensya ko na makipag negotiate sa iba't ibang sales rep.. cguro anim o pitong dealers yung hiningan ko ng quotations..

thanks and more power to tsikoters..

Our Innova is due for 70k km check-up, reading some previous post here, that its up for clutch repair (clutch assembly replaced). I decided to make an appointment (thru their website) for March 23, 2013. Which it was confirmed by a text from Toyota. I informed them that i want to have the front brakes and clutch check, ask them if they parts available. They said clutch assembly is by order basis.
Today, i have to go Sm North which is near their place (Toyota Balintawak). So i called them, ask if it is possible for the innova to be test drive to check if the clutch is for replacement. She said ok noproblem look for Ms. Mean. I said if the clutch need to be replace, can it be ordered? She said i should make 50% DOWNPAYMENT for the parts, i said the unit was bought from there and also service thru them why need deposit, she said company policy. I said ok. after the driver drop me off, he went to Toyota for test drive (clutch check). Ms. Mean said no need to make deposit and the clutch need to be repair. After returning to office, i decide to call ask them is it really true NO DEPOSIT needed. A guy answered my call, he said Ms. Mean was not avaible (half day daw). I said why no deposit needed, when i called this morning, they require my to made 50% deposit. He said now they have new policy, must pay 100% or no parts will be ordered.
I said that's why i have it checked earlier para maorder na iyon parts and pay the 50% deposit as advised this morning.
Since Innova is best selling model, they can't even afford to stock the parts. Tapos he say and she say??? which is which??? I think this is too much requiring client to made deposit. despite that i am willing to make the deposit, but wala silang systema, the other say no need the other say 50% the other say 100%.

I suggest you go to the Toyota website and email their customer service. Had a similar problem regarding unavailability of parts and it was rectified immediately by the head of customer service. Even their plant manager called me up to apologize.

    hope this helps..

Lahat yata ng casa ganyan, by order basis ang parts and they want deposit plus it will take you 4 days to get it and thereafter plus 3-5 days job. The whole process will take you a week or two.

This is the reason why I had my transmission pull down repair done at my suking gasoline station, just bought Original OEM Toyota parts at Pasay and paid gasoline station P1500 for the replacement job. It took less than 4 hours for the job and I save P10K plus on casa's parts and labor quotation. It's a win - win for time and money spent if you will have it done outside casa.
