Thanks Sir Ed. Kamusta ang hatak with the 225/55? I noticed you have a VVTi unit as well. Is that an MT or an AT?

Ayos naman Sir IMm29. Felt na tumaas yung ride which is OK since nasanay na din tayo lately because of the upgrade we did dun sa new Ford Ranger (17 to 20 naman). Less tagtag surprisingly and more kapit and stability sa road. My unit is MT po. 2008 model. Lastly, mas naging mas pogi si Innova :-)

Hehehe! Malayo naman sa tangkad ng White Ranger mo. But yes, from the stock 15s, your 225s will give the Innova more height. You're right about the ride, reduced bounce and better stability. Bumigat kasi. Hehe! Our unit is about a year ahead of yours. No complaints about the ride and the looks with the 17s, it's just the response that suffered a bit. Ours is an A/T, so i suppose that's what magnifies the feel of the lack in torque. Hehehe!

Fluid type shocks... is it ok to replace it with a gas type shocks? or the ride quality will suffer?

Sabi ng Sa naming yung roof rails daw ay walang load bearing capacity and purely for aesthetics lang.
How true is this? Ang mahal pa naman ng roof rails sa casa, 18k.

A roof basket for out of town trips. It will be loaded with a cooler and several luggage.
The casa said it cannot even bear a spare tire's weight because it is not bolted to the pillars for support.

Parang mahirap yan sir ah! Baka matuklap ung tint pag tinanggal ko ung sticker. Pwede bang ilaminate na lng un tapos saka idikit. Wori lng ako sa mga enforcer bka di kita sa labas.

Wag mo na lang idikit muna, basta nakalagay yung sa plates at dala mo yung OR/CR copies ok na. pag tinanong ka ipakita mo na lang yun sticker tapos sabihin mo magpapatint ka.

In my case three years na ako nde nagdidikit ng sticker sa windshield.

Ako din. 3 rides ko wala sticker sa wind shield ever since nakuha ko from the casa starting way back 2008. Kala ko nga di na uso yan e kase wala na din ako nakikita. Important lang e yung sticker sa plate mailagay.

itago mo na lang sa glove compartment yan sir. basta ung license lpate sticker naka dikit.

mga sir, na experience nyo ba ito, innova j gas yung car ko, nag palit ako ng battery kahapon ng tanghali. after the install, pina start lang yung engine para ma check kung ok yung charging. ok naman. 14v daw ang reading. mga 6 pm ko na ginamit yung sasakyan. at first ok naman. after 10 minutes, biglang bumaba yung rpm ng 500 rpm. para siyang mamamatay. buti na lang bumalik uli ng normal after another 15 mins.. pati yung A and B odo meter ko, nag reset. ganoon ba pag electronic? nag palit lang naman ako ng battery? tnx

hindi normal yan sir. baka alternator mo ang diperensya hindi kumarga kaya namamatayan ka.

sounds like a loose connection in a major electrical link. that's the only reason i can think of that can cause the tripmeters to reset..

Nagreset po yung ECU nyo sir. ganyan po talaga pag may on-board computer ang auto.

ngayon naman normal na siya. nakakapag taka lang kasi, battery lang naman yung pinalitan eh nagka problema na ng ganoon. kung ECU reset naman, ano kaya ang cause niyon? thanks guys.

This happens to me po everytime I disconnect the battery for more than 1 hour. Yung ECU po, re-learns the current car settings in a while kaya po normal na ulit. sabi po nila sa casa, para mas mabilis, going back to normal, just turn the acc to on but don't start the engine, depress the accelerator way down slowly then turn it off for 1 minute before starting the engine. drive for 15 mins, at min of 2k rpm with a/c / radio/ etc turned off.

One reason po for this, I noticed was the clogged throttle valve.auto adjust po kasi yun, tried cleaning this off with carb cleaner, pati na din po yung MAF sensor with elec-contact cleaner.I changed the spark plugs na rin. ayun po, di na kailangan gawin ung advise ng casa.
