I understand some people want to protect the hood. But adding insulation will decrease heat dissipation right? The more heat the engine produces, the more you want the heat to be taken away from the engine bay. Additional insulation probably will protect the hood but it won't help is dissipating heat.

The engine bay is not sealed, hence, trapping heat is less of a worry than protecting the hood.

wala po date warranty booklet. delivery receipt and invoice ay nakapangalan sa akin. ganito kasi nangyari. my auto loan was approved at PS bank. then i choosed Norcar allied motors to supply the unit since they have more freebies and bigger discount compared to toyota baguio. since wala yong preferred color ko na white sa norcar, naghanap norcar ng white available unit and makati has it so galing toyota makati yong unit na na deliver kay norcar then norcar prepared the invoice and Delivery receipt to me. after 1 week i was trying to read the manual and that was the only time i discovered na may nakapangalan na ibang tayo sa warranty card with the same unit specification. i am worried na baka yong unit na nakuha ko ay binigay sa ibang tao previously then binalik for some reason tapos yon yong binigay sa akin. lalo na at may white smoke sa innova every morning for the first 2 kilometers na takbo ko. then after that okay na wala na smoke pag normal temperature na makina. i dont know if this is normal. tanungin ko pa sa toyota.

YES, all digital odometer on all vehicles can be easily rewinded thru a computer program. ito kadalasan ginagawa mga buy and sell people specially those with showroom. current rate in metro manila is i think 2.5k for the programmers to rewind your odometer - any vehicle. i must know that because i know a lot of relatively new vehicles with very high mileage na ginawang low mileage lalo na pag for sale yong unit.

hehe, saan ba recommended shops for PDR? I ask an auto repair shop in manila but they decline to do it. Baka may special tools or technique sa PDR.

Been reading the Innova threads for a long time but only decided to post now that I actually own an Innova. Just got my Innova E 2.5 A/T Light Blue yesterday and so far I'm satisfied with the handling and accessibility of controls.

I learned a lot from the posts here about what to do when getting the new unit from the dealership and true enough, a careful inspection of the unit made me notice a 2mm chip off the paint on the edge of the rear right door. It's not noticeable really but when I brought this out to the manager, he immediately told me that they will repaint the whole door.

If not for this forum I would have bought the Monty, but as one of the gurus here said, "kung pamporma eh Montero, kung pampamilya eh Innova."

Diesel Sir. I got Php45,000 discount so umabot ng Php1,003,000. I got free 3M tint, LTO reg, rustproofing, mat. seat cover, car cover. I got it through BDO deals on wheels.

Yung Innova G 2.5 AT is around 1.18M and MS GLX is 1.19M pero pag kinompare maintenance cost and FC eh has maganda pa rin talaga sa Innova.
