pre-owned cars are second hand cars that were inspected ( at least 100 point quality assurace inspection checks ) and certified by casa. normally may kasama na extended warranty. parang meron ako nakita toyota bicutan na pre-owned vehicles.

in truth, it's the same banana. pre-owned cars and secondhand cars are just a play of words that mean the same thing: USED CARS.
whatever else is implied by the label, is something that may or may not be true or realistic. read and understand the conditions stated in the warranty. let us remember that the main objective of the car seller is to sell the car at a profit.
caveat emptor, regardless of sartorial elegance...

Juat had my 1k km PMS sa toyota pasong tamo. Total bill P1745. I asked the SA kung pwede yung factory TVSS alarm pag arm/disarm tutunog din yung busina. Ngayon kasi nag flash lang ang signal light. Hindi daw pwede yun. For models 2005-2009 lang daw yun. Pero sa manual may instruction how to do it. Sa revo ko kasi pag arm/disarm may busina. At pag start pa lang lock na agad. I suppose pareho naman ang alarm nila. Any of you tried activating the answerback feature ng alarm?

Normal lang ba na kumakalog left to right ang M/T shifter kung dumadaan sa rough roads? Tapos sa smooth roads ay may slight wiggle sya? Sa Transmission factory kasi ng Mitsubishi dati nag work ang tatay ko at sabi nya ang isang no-no sa kanila ay ang vibrating transmission shifter. Dapat daw ay di ito kumakalog. Sa mga kotse ok naman pero sa innova ang lakas lalo na sa lubak.

Eto po ang pagkakaiba.

Innova - Shifter ay directly linked to the transmission, transmission is directly bolted on the engine. Pag pumalag ang engine, papalag din ang shifter.

Front wheel drive cars - Shifter is cable attached - engine and transmission vibration is eliminated when it goes to the cable.

Hi Mile2, do you have experience cleaning the MAF? required po ba ito for cleaning? Ano po ang nangyayari pag madumi itong MAF? is it possible na marumi ito without the engine lights ON?

how much din po ang gastos pag nasa 100,000 kms? Replace V-belts, timing belts and tensioner bearing?

Eto po ang pagkakaiba.

Innova - Shifter ay directly linked to the transmission, transmission is directly bolted on the engine. Pag pumalag ang engine, papalag din ang shifter.

Front wheel drive cars - Shifter is cable attached - engine and transmission vibration is eliminated when it goes to the cable.

Saka nga po pala matagal ako umabot ng 5k km kasi ndi ko po masyado gngamet innova..almost 7 months yata from 5km to 10km..

If you want to clean the MAF sensor, just spray it with Electronic Contact Cleaner and don't touch it, as it is very fragile the reason why it is enclosed very far from the air hole opening. Just spray a little then let it sit for few minutes then spray a 2nd one to drip the dirt then screw it back on the air intake. Cleaning MAF sensor is not much nescessary as long as you keep good maintenance of your air filter. Usually MAF cleaning is done together with throttle assembly cleaning and with same procedure of just spraying contact cleaner solution.

Note: Engine malfunction light indicator is not always due to MAF sensor malfunction. You will need an OBD scanner to decode engine malfunction lighted.

Timing belt - For VVTi there's no timing belt, it has timing chain that would last till your engine drop dead. No timing chain replacement maintenance for VVTi.

if you're having 100K Kms PMS it would be wise to replace the serpentine belt that drives your fan/alternator/aircon/power steering.

Mga ka-innova, di ba yung upuan sa 3rd row, may parang belt na naka-attach yung hook para masabit natin in case we need the space. Yung sakin kasi, napatid doon sa part ng upuan, di ko tuloy masabit yung upuan.

May alam ba kayo na gumagawa nito?

Any uphostery shop can fix that problem but if your unit is still under warranty its better to bring it to your dealer
