More or less 12K ang quote nila bale. Parang overkill naman. Una, mukhang di naman nila pin-pointed saan talaga galing ung oil kaya ang gagawin nila, lahat ng posibleng source, ire-reseal na lang nila. Parang action movie, shoot as many bullets as you can and hope somebody gets shot. Second, kung balak nilang palitan lahat ng seal na sinasabi nila, ibig sabihin one time lang nila bubuksan, babaklasin at ikakabit pero tig-iisa ang bayad sa labor. Ang ibig ko pong sabihin e mas madali na sa kanila ang magkabit ng mga yun dahil sunod-sunod na aalisin ang mga un at maalis na ung mga nakaharang na anuman sa makina pag nagkakabit. Kasi po sa mga talyer sa labas, pag ganyan, isang singil lang sa labor. Third, ipapauwi daw po ba sa yo ung shop materials? Ano daw po un, renta sa mga tools, bayad sa ilaw, tubig, basahan?

I suggest po na humingi muna kayo ng 2nd opinion or 3rd pa. Kasi kung magpapalit lang ng seals, kayang-kaya yan ng mga talyer at ibang shops e. Sayang ung 12K.

thanks mark. that's a reassuring note. sabi ng service foreman, dapat daw gamitin ko yung hindi mataas ang octane. I'll try Caltex silver next. if I'm not mistaken, the manual says to use only unleaded. di ba leaded yung XCS and other premium gasoline? in any case, i'll have them check the acu parts for bearing problems and whatnot next pms.

Actually naitanong ko na yan sa mga gasoline boys and dito sa tsikot. sa pagkakatanda ko parang hindi rin nasagot ng diretso ung tanong ko na ung Petron XCS, Caltex GOLD and Shell Super premium ( now Shell Nitro?) e considered unleaded ba. Naririnig ko lang naman ung light knocking sound pag open ang front windows at makipot ang daan na may mga walls.

Unleaded po lahat ng gas natin dito. Bawal na po kasi leaded gas. Kung may leaded man, sa probinsya lang yun.

Magandang araw mga tsikot at innova lovers...

ask ko lang nabasa ko kasi sa manual (salamat kay Number001 sa pdf file) na pag naka 'On' na yung sa ignition switch dapat po eh naka 'ilaw' na rin yung 'ABS' at 'SRS' icons within 6 seconds (aside from other icons na makikita sa service reminder indicators). Meaning pag naka ilaw yung ABS at SRS they are functioning properly.

Problema ko po kasi eh, pag naka 'On' yung ignition switch eh wala pong ilaw yung SRS and ABS icons nya, ibig po bang sabihin eh may problema na yung SRS and ABS ng innova ko? (btw, 2nd hand lang yung innova na nabili ko, 2007 model G series), just in case may problema po, saan po unang titignan kung talagang may defect po talaga ang SRS and ABS?

2005-06. Walang ABS yung G variant. Anong kulay unit mo ? Posible natin malaman kung 2007 ba yan depende sa kulay ng sasakyan.

i agree. i believe your unit does not abs nor srs. look at your manibela.. does it have markings of an airbag?

Pa engine wash mo muna mam then pagkatapos umandar check where the oil comes from.
Mura lng naman pa engine wash, malay mo natapunan lng pala last change oil.

tama! may nakita akong video sa youtube, papa engine wash muna tapos parang hahaluan nila ng fluid na nag re-react sa UV light yung oil...tapos madali nang makita yung leak...try mo na din ibang SA/Casa

If no water leaks through the crack, then you can leave it alone.

I'm not sure how they repair that kind of damage, but I know you can have the lens changed (clear plastic).

Mga brods kung sa service reminder indicators po yung pini-pertain nyong markings regarding sa airbag at sa manibela ay meron po. itim po yung innova na nabili ko.

i also have the G variant, yun nga lang eh 2011 model. there is a ABS icon sa left side, color yellow sya, nag iilaw pag naka ON ang ignition. SRS icon, walang ganun, airbag logo is parang upuan at may airbag, color red naman yun.

yung sa airbag, yes 6 seconds mamamatay din yun. pero sa 2007 innnova ba may ABS ang G? tingnan mo sa liwanag, left side sir kung meron bang logo ng ABS dun na di lang umiilaw, kung wala naman, wala syang ABS.

thanks sir. pwede pala palitan na lens lang, akala ko kasi buong headlight kailangan palitan. nung nabanga kasi dati yung innova at may gasgas yung headlight, pinalitan lahat. tnx.

Hindi pa ako nakakita na actual pinalitan yung lens ng headlight assembly. Pero yan ang sinabi sa akin ng SA ng toyota dealer na remedyo nila nung pina warranty ko yung isang headlight ko na may moisture sa loob.

Ang alam ko kasi boung assembly ng headlamps lang nabibili.

You should go to your dealer and demand the OR/CR. If they could not produce this, it means your car has not been registered yet and this is dangerous. It's ok not to have the plates yet but not to have a registration is a no no. If your car has been bought under financing, then you should at least get a photocopy of the CR.

Has anyone availed of the prepaid PMS TSS?

To all Innova Owners,
I just want to share to you my experience.
Few months ago, my a/c started to malfunctioned erratically.
The cool was inconsistent most especially when the weather outside is hot.
I noticed that the pulley assembly doesn't activated/engaged when the a/c is switched on.
But when I hit it with a stick so it will engage, it works ok.
Few days ago, I went to one a/c shop for them to check it.
They said that the pulley assembly's electromagnetic coil has degraded and needs to be replaced.
They also said that it normally malfunctioned when it gets hot.
I don't know if this is true but nevertheless, I asked them to change it since we badly needed the a/c to work properly.
Now, my a/c is working as it was before.
Can someone verify the malfunctioning of the pulley assembly when it gets hot?
Or I should just asked them to clean it since I saw a lot of accumulated dust between the coil of the pulley assembly and that might caused the malfunction of the coil?
