pinacheck ko naman wla naman nakita sa mga tie rod ball joint...habang tumatagal lalong lumalakas ang kalampag..pinacheck ko naman ulit wala pa rin makita....motech ako ngpchek

may kumakalampag din sa akin nitong mga nakakaraan araw , peru di ko rin alam kung ano , napansin ko kapag pinaga ko itong gas na medyu madiin diin tsaka nag kakaruon ng kumakalampag sa ilalim pa minsan minsan .

Ok, here's how I removed, cleaned and returned the cabin air filter of the innova. (Many thanks to tsikoteer number001!) I decided to do this manually since I noticed that I was not getting enough air out of the vents, a sign of clogged filter.

1. Open the glove compartment


2. Press on both sides near the stopper


3. Gently lower the cover


4. If you wish you can totally remove the cover by lifting it from its hinges

5. Open the filter cover's latch by the green arrow


6. Slide out the filter


7. The cabin air filter after I vaccuumed it


To return simply reverse the steps. Now, aircon fan speed is back to normal.

Di ko na pinakita ang picture bago nalinis. Grabe sa dumi eh, hehe. The filter's in service for almost one year and this is the first time I removed it for cleaning. I intend to buy a new one next PMS, keep this old one as spare and alternate them after cleaning. Sayang kung itatapon lang agad.

As for the filter, I soaked it in soapy (downy, perwoll, etc..) water overnight. Water turns dark (depending on how dirty your filter is). Be sure to rinse the filter well with water (to rid of any soapy residue).

Thanks for the tip sir. I think this is a much better way of cleaning it rather than have it vacuumed.

Actually, you need to clean it as much as you can, by vacuum or brush, before soaking in soapy water. Then you have to dry it thoroughly, ideally under the sun, to harden the cardboard/paper end stiffener.

But the message here for everyone is clear - READ THE MANUAL. If our Innova has that safety feature, sigurado nasa manual yun. Just like yung whirring sound sa matic when you drive forward and you release the brake, after 2 seconds may whirring sound and vibration ako na nararamdaman which made me worried. Upon reading the manual I am assured that it was normal kasi nag-activate and ABS. Yung Everest naman na matic at may ABS eh walang ganun na sound. So it's always best to read the manual.

Bro.,- 1 mile is equal to 1.6Km.....So, i multiply mo lang ng 1.6, Km na iyon.

I think every 40k kilometer ang pag palit sa atf. Nasa manual kung ilang liters ang ilalagay.

Just had my 180t kms PMS late last December 2012 and was advised that certain parts are up for replacement... may ma recommend kayo na mga shops outside of casa that can supply reliable and reasonable prices of the following:

- front suspension arm (lower & upper)
- rack end / tie rod
- front wheel bearing

not sure if casa will accept parts bought outside.. but magbakasakali lang... di naman siguro super special ang mga parts na to na sa casa lang pupuwede gawin kaya worst case.. baka sa labas ko na rin ipagawa assuming may mabiling pyesa sa labas...

BTW, ano year model/ variant ang innova mo? D4D or VVTI?
Ilang KM ka nga pala nag palit ng timing belt?

Mine is 2008 D4D E. 94k na tinakbo. Will it be safe to change timing belt say 110k?
