Good pm to all,

Nag palit ako ng front left shock absorber... pero pansin ko ngayon may ingay sya na parang may maliit na OLD DOOR sound pag pinupush mo sya ng malakas... nakakairita... any idea po kung anong gawin dito? walang leak po ang shock absorber. (shell station)

Next nag pa adjust ako ng hand break kanina... ngayon may kalampag at squeaking sound sa baba ng 2nd row right passenger... Super nakakairita at super lakas ng sound pag nasa labas ka ng sasakyan... Manamalas ata ang pag papaayos ko... babalik na naman ako bukas. (Servitek)

For D-4D Innovas, the A/T's 2KD-FTV is factory "tuned" to have a higher output (260/1,600-2,400) Nm/Rpm. Note: this is the same output on 2.5 D-4D in Hilux E to 4x2 G (all M/T), and Fortuner 4x2 G D-4D M/T.


For M/T Innova D-4D, the output is "only" (200/1,400-3,200) Nm/Rpm.

Toyota may have given Innova D-4D A/T higher output tuning to compensate for the supposed sluggishness inherent in traditional slushboxes (vs. M/T).

Perhaps you need to have it check na but based from my exeprience hindi gsnon kataas yun rpm. Here is my run going to subic for a hard break in with an innova G AT

M/T innova ko. Yung almost 4k na sinabi ko is between 3.5 to 4K or baka namali ako ng pagkakatanda. Di ko na rin matandaan accurately kasi medyo matagal na. Di ko masubukan uli kasi ayaw kong mahuli ng speed cam. Kuntento na ko sa 100-110 kph. Sibat na lang konti pag overtake. Ang 100kph ko nga pala nasa mga 2.6K or 2.7K, ano sa A/T mo?

Bro. timo07, look at the RPM gauge of bro.aki0125,- he is driving a diesel variant... His RPM/speed scenario is about the same as our GS A/T.

My guess is that yours is a gasoline variant. In which case, pareho lang tayo ng Innova variant (ours is A/T though),- at 100KPH, the gauge is at 2.8KRPM.

Pwede... Yan ang unang ginawa ko sa Innova ko... Nagdagdag muna ako ng speakers sa second row... After two weeks ay tsaka ako nagpalit ng HU then palit stock front speakers to seps.

Nope bro, my Innova is D4D. I think my recollection is correct per jrn29's experience. The difference with aki0125 is because of his A/T against my M/T. CtrlAltDlt I think correctly explained the reason behind the discrepancy.

Or maybe due to gearing ratio as explained by CtrlAltDlt?? Only four gears as against 5 of MT and thus on the 4th gear need to achieve equivalent speed as the M/T so lower gear ratio. Irerelate ko lang sa bisikleta, mas maliit gear mas mahirap ipedal, need to exert more effort so sa vehicle, increase the torque?

Yep, its with the gearing set up. If my memory serves me right, at 100kph the AT innova diesel's rpm is at 2,000. No sure though, give me few days to confirm this. We hardly reached 100kph with the traffic situation here in manila

Ano po un may kulang lang na connection? kasi ung cluster guage natin me naka abang na. hindi lang nailaw. may naka gawa na po ba nito (pailawin ung nasa guage panel)?

Siguro talagang sadyang hindi pinailaw ung door ajar indicator for J variants... Wala pa akong alam na nagpailaw nito... IMO, mahirap pakialaman ung electrical sa intrumentation panel... Baka magka problema pa ito.
