I think you're right sir. my 1,000 and 5,000 PMS I only paid for 6 liters, I'm surprise now that they quote me with 7 liters. Follow question lang , sir. What will happen to the engine if the oil is too much for the designated ratio for gas variant Innova. thank you for the inputs.

AFAIK, yes it is bad. it might cause engine damage. but lets wait for reply of the others.

If too much oil, engine would feel sluggish in my experience. In TMBC they would give you the remaining oil. It should be around 5.6 liters only for Gas 2.0 Variant.

i usually put 5 liters. it should be between min and max.

Pa change oil tom ang innova namin. Sa TAI naka schedule bukas. sa toyota manila bay nabili. may convinient sa tai.

sa wakas, avialable na ang plates, ipa lbc na lang ni toyoto manila bay.

good luck tol..taga sumingil yang TAI..nag-inquire ako jan for my 10k km pms...flushing lang 3K na sa kanila vs <300 sa TMBC at Dasma..yung Fortuner ng tropa nman 7K ang singil nila sa flushing vs <700 sa kanila..

dapat tignan din talaga yung estimate na binibigay ng SA. and sabihin na yung mga ayaw ipagawa like flushing..

OT: sir, yung avanza niyo, 110km na, walang sludging issue naman? if i remember correctly, kayo yung may corolla before na nag sludge diba?

First time na pa engine detail sa bigberts qc kanina (waterless), super satisfied, maghapon na ginawa. Pagkakuha ko mga 10mins na tumatakbo bigla na lang huminto ang makina (D4D 2010) amoy sunog pagbukas ko ng hood, tsk! Nagpadala naman agad ng tao si Mr. Jeffrey Chua manager nila para tingnan yung situation pero di rin mahanap ang problema. Sana makita agad bukas ng TYT kung ano talaga ang problema! Ano kaya ang naging problema nito mga pards? Starter? Grounded? Thanks.

ako nga iyong may zz na nag sludge. naibenta na.

anyway, looks ok naman, iyon lang nga hindi ko pa napa open ang engine cover ng avanza para makilatis ng maigi. anyway, have been using semi synthetic oil and change oil and oil filter every 5,000 km.

Bihira akong magpa-engine wash... Hindi naman masyadong marumi dahil I brush off the dirt/dust regularly....

try toyota pasig, 10K and 20K pms are less than P1,800. You may bring own oil and iridium plugs. Just politely decline the flushing and fuel treamtnet.

yes, yan nga yung tinakpan ko. notice also the hanging metal connecting sa bumper, may butas din yan (near the bolt). This is the underneath view. at pag tinanggal mo pa yung bumper (front view), may makikita ka pa. madami yan.

Solution to the smoke smell entering the cabin:

1. If stuck in traffic surrounded by any old diesels (jeep, PUV, delivery van, 10 wheelers, etc...), turn off back aircon immediately.

2. Set the aircon in front to a higher blower speed and lower temp. to compensate.


PS: Depending on the number of passengers, these steps might cause discomfort (warm cabin) if performed when the vehicle is running in the summer afternoon heat.
