    I'm using Innova VVT-i A/T
1 year and 6 months na

Pure City Driving - 8 km/Lit with max speed of around 40kph
Pure Highway Driving - 14km/Lit with speed between 70-90kph
    Mixed (30% City ; 70% Highway) - 10km/Lit

These are based on actual measurements and not on the MID

    Ours is Gas A/T

On the meter, it is registering 8.5Km/L(not bad) - approx 10Km subdivision + 10Km hiway everyday.

I'll know the actual in a few days.

Wow matipid din pala ang VVT-i considering naka A/T pa ung sayo sir? mas matipid ang manual considering the same driving habits done n your A/T?

MID has 2 options for KM/Lit readings, they are average and instantaneous.
I'm referring to the average reading which is always higher than my manual computation.

For sure mas matipid ang manual transmission compared sa automatic.
Pero major factor pa din ang driving habits.

Kahit na 7.5Km/L man ang (actual) performance ng aming Innova,- I am already happy with it....

i installed a rear bumper guard. bought it for 900 here in manila. though i had to spend additional 400 to replace the flimsy double sided tape with a 3m brand. works very well especially when my kid want to get off using the rear door.

also, i saw 2 versions of it. a short one and a long one. the diff is the length, obviously. the shorter one doesn't reach the corners.

thanks for the quick reply. I went today at toyota cebu they have a shorter version it cost around 1,600 here. The service personnel said its original that's why it's more expensive. Sir, thus your rear bumper step guard still ok at this time or the adhesive still intact no signs of detached? How many years is your rear bumper step guard? thanks again.

i do believe pdr only works on metal sheets. on plastics like the bumper, it may work to minimize the dent but wont completely remove it since the plastic will have a 'fold' already.

also, looking at your pictures, i do think that the paint is already damaged. no choice but to have it repainted. otherwise, if its a paint transfer, you can use mild rubbing compound to remove it.

i installed it for almost a year now. my car is usually parked under the sun everyday. no signs of adhesive removal but like i've said, i used the 3m automotive double adhesive tape.

    here's a few more tips:
    - don't be a scrooge when applying the adhesive tape. i know the 3m tape is quite expensive but it would save you a lot of time, effort and money in the long run if you're generous in applying the tape.
    - after every car wash, remember to blow dry the bumper guard. water usually accumulates inside. otherwise, it will leave a watermark that may be difficult to remove later.
    - when waxing the car, carefully avoid putting wax on the bumper guard. it's rough surface traps the wax and very difficult to remove. you'll end up with a shiny bumper and a black bumper guard with white smudges. you can use a toothbrush to remove the wax just in case.
    - when attaching the bumper guard, wipe the bumper with alcohol first, just to make sure that there is no wax residue.
