medyo OT lang sa pinaguusapan about sa AC natin. may tanong lang ako.

ok po kaya sa D4D ko na mag shift ng diesel? right now i am using caltex's diesel w/ techron. super ok naman sa akin, no problem sa unit ko. pero parang nababasa ko sa montero sport thread na ok na ok sa kanila ang seaoil bioexceed diesel.

ok din kaya ito sa innova natin for D4D?

I've been using Caltex diesel ever since I got my Innova. Okay naman sya. My take on this is since super okay naman ang caltex sa unit mo why gamble on other diesel fuel?

If you drive alone all the time, you need to turn on the back aircon from time to time so that it wont get "stuck" (probably used the wrong term here).

When driving alone, is it advisable to turn-off the aircon for both the 2nd & 3rd row seat?

to my mind, it's like turning the compressor on without turning the blower on. this might cause temperature extremes on the second evaporator, resulting in premature leaks.
but that's just me..

always on ang a/c kahit na walang tao sa likod. minimum fan setting.

di ba puwede na naka off ang a/c fan sa harap ay sabay off din sa likod?

Okay lang yan kahit naka off ang rear aircon. Meron check valve yan. Freon does not flow to the rear cooling coil unless you turn it on.

Sa mga masters na ka-innova as ko your inputs regarding aircon lalu na sa mga same unit na 2011 E A/T GAS type 3 aircon control(no A/C on button)

1. Just my observation, yung front fans lang ba ang may cooling at circulating fan lang yung sa rear cooler fan switch sa 2nd row seat? When you feel it by hand yung malamig lang sa buga is yung sa harap then yung sa likod ambient lang ang buga. Is this normal or maybe needs checking next PMS. TIA

There are 2 evaporator coils for the innova. 1 sa harap ( underneath the dashboard ) and 1 at the back ( passenger side ). only front has the option to get air outside / recirculate. yung likod ay recirculate lang. malamig dapat parehas. rear aircon also takes a longer time to cool especially during noon because the tubes run through the roof at gets hots kapag nakabilad sa araw yung sasakyan. kung hindi lumalamig yung likod mo, have it check immediately baka sira expansion valve.

o.t. lang sir... i have a van 3 po ang evaporator... ang napancin ko po nung minsan eh pinatay yung isang blower eh nung binuksan ko na eh medyo nahilaw na po ang lamig nung pinatay na rear a.c. hindi na po kasing lamig ng dati... wala din po check valve...

Ok I will have it checked next PMS just to be sure. Also confirm my observation, the compressor only starts when front fan is on and temp selector is on, but when front fan is OFF and with temp selector is ON and rear fan is ON notice compressor does not start, so no cooling at rear fan.

Hindi naman dapat tanggalin ang check valve. Pag walang check valve at naka Off ang rear aircon mag yeyelo naman ang coil. Pag yan ngyari magiging hilaw ang lamig. Kung walang check valve dapat lagi naka On ang rear aircon.

I think it is a matter of wiring the switch of A/C. Separate kasi ang master A/C switch ng Innova (front and back). Unlike other MPV na ung master A/C switch ay nasa front lang, turning it off will automaticall cut-off the 2nd & 3rd row A/C as well.

Mga sir, need help in repairing cracked tail light ng innova. Binunggo kz ako sa likod, nag crack yung tail light (white part/bottom area). Ano po ba maganda ilagay doon para di pasukin tubig or moist? Or. How much po ba yung tail light ng innova and where is the a good place to buy?

Hindi naman dapat tanggalin ang check valve. Pag walang check valve at naka Off ang rear aircon mag yeyelo naman ang coil. Pag yan ngyari magiging hilaw ang lamig. Kung walang check valve dapat lagi naka On ang rear aircon.

kung maliit lang naman crack, pwede siguro yung mga protection films like 3m, xpel. meron sa mga sticker shops na nagkakabit ng body wraps.

Sir ako nagpalit last month. to be exact 1972.24 petot sa casa Right tail light. whole assembly na yan at inuwi ko yung pinagpalitan.

Right tail light din ang may crack sa akin. Siguro try ko muna sa banawe baka mas mura. Medyo malaki kasi yung crack. Check ko kung kaya pa din ng xpel film. Thank you mga sirs.
