Just activated the answerback ng alarm sa Innova G ko. Just followed the instructions sa manual. Medyo madami lang steps pero madali naman.

According sa manual may shock sensor and alarm. Although medyo hindi ko maintindihan masyado ang procedure. Basahin ko ulit mamaya.

One more thing I read sa manual, page 18-23 yata na once you remove the key from the engine switch the alarm indicator light will start to flash indicating the system has been activated. But when I tried it hindi naman nag flash yung light. Bit when I arm the alarm system the light will be steady for 30sec after which will start to flashing na. Sa inyo ba pag hugot ng key from ignition switch the light starts flashing?

that's for the immobilizer feature which is not available sa Innova.

yung sa hugot, hindi nag fflash. pag in-armed mo lang yung alarm system, chaka mag steady ang light then flashes yung sa akin.

yung alarm ko pina-install ko sa labas...and my unit is not a G variant...share ko rin lang..yung indicator ng alarm, di sya nailaw pag hinugot na yung susi..pag inarmed mo na yung alarm nya saka pa lang sya iilaw then after 5 seconds yata, dun pa lang sya mag-start na magblink/magflash..

Not sure kung anong page. Pages 18-23 and 123 yata. Paki check nalang. Nabasa ko kasi doon once hinugot na yung susi the light indicator should start flashing indicating that the system has been set. Sabi pa nga na pag hindi mag flash you should bring the car sa dealer. Sinubukan ko pero hindi nag flash eh. Pero pag arm ng alarm steady muna yung light for 30 secs after which mag start na mag flash.

ah yun ba yung sinasabing answer back..hehehe..sensya na bos, di ko alam tawag...yung answer back nung sa kin, single flash & single chirp pag armed, then pag unarmed, double chirp then 3 flashes ng signal lights...

tanong mga bro. Innova E d4d ko, pag open ko sa engine hood, sa both side gilid almost sa likod ng headlight may wiring na parang socket para sa foglights ba yun? pero wala naman din foglamp switch sa dashboard.

As I mentioned earlier, for units with immobilizer, once the key is removed from the ignition switch, system is automatically armed. you cannot start the car unless the corresponding key with transponder is used. sadly this feature is not available on our local units. even the Fort does not have this feature.

So that means wala din transponder chips yung mga keys natin. It was explained in the manual that our keys have transponder chips. Pag ibang key ang gamitin mo hindi mag start ang engine. So this is a false sense of security.

yung manual kasi is generic for all regions. marami feature dun na wala sa local units natin. one of which is the immobilizer.yung flat spare key ay normally walang transponder pero you can still start the engine. sa mga nagpa-duplicate na ng key you can verify na wala talaga immobilizer ang Innova.

To simply explain this, yung mga G and V variants may tinatawag na "Valet key" walang chips yun at plain metal key, pero puedeng pang start.

When I bought a set of original foglamps, E D4D din sa akin, it came with harnesses and the switch. Connection was made by plugging all connectors - supplied harnesses to the vehicle provisions. No wire cutting done. The main wiring harness of the vehicle will cater to all variants, I think.

Yes sir. Actually aside from the transponder chip on the key, there is also the transponder amplifier and transponder ECU that is not available on our local variants.
