mga innova users, planning to buy the diesel d4d automatic and top of the line. kamusta po mga owners gusto ko sana humingi feedback kung ok ito. galing ako sa Gasolina na rav4 gen2 which is binebenta ko na at kukuha ako ng innova since marami pwede masakay. at isa pang problem ko is malakas sa gas ang rav4 gen2 ko kaya di rin sulit pag ginagamit. like 400 pesos sa gas manila to ampid san mateo balikan ubos agad. (40kms total) wala pang aircon. malakas sa gas talaga maybe dahil luma narin ang rav4 ko. 55pesos rate ng gas ngayon

first time ako gagamit ng diesel. automatic is ok kasi yan ang gamit ko noon pa man. so sa diesel part di po ba sasakit ulo ko or any problems in a diesel car? masipag naman po ako sa maintanance like change oil, filter, etc. like what i did sa previous gas cars ko.

di po ba underpowered ito? plan ko ito gamitin sa mga trips like baguio, ilocos, subic, sa mga long trips. i remembered last holy week nagpunta kami baguio nasa 5000+ pesos gastos namin sa gasolina. 2500 papunta baguio, 2500 pabalik manila. rated 55 pesos per liter.

any feedback will be big help in deciding.

It depends on your preference:
1.) Diesel engine is noisier than gas.
2.) Maintenance is costlier (around Php7-9K per 10K/15K/20K/25K/30K/35K/40K kms).
3.) Maintenance after 100K might be more costly.
4.) FC city is around 7-8 km/li. FC highway is around 10-12km/li. Depends on your driving habits.
5.) Warranty period covers first 100K km or 3 years whichever comes first. This means, after 100K, normally, problems will start to show up. But still depends on your maintenance. If you are maintaining it well - no problem.

But above all, the ride is ok for long drive as diesel are meant for it.

anung PMS po ito? every 5k at least PhP7k po bill nyo? di pa ko umaabot ng 6k sa PMS ng diesel variant :D

4,5k using toyota mineral oil - i should have spotted the bs fuel treatment and engine flush, which costs approximately 1k. i should have paid roughly 3,5k only. next time i'll take note of this.

has anyone tried the honda 30 weight mineral oil for innova gas? i find toyota mineral too thick (20w50).

i noticed that also, TMO in the innova diesel with a low mileage is too viscous you can tell the difference when you switch to their synthetic oil...

Yes, its too thick. That's why I'm using the w40 of Shell or Caltex.

Used 7 liters fully synthetic 5W40 Toyota Motor Oil.

I use Honda's 10W-30 mineral on my Fort 2.7 VVT-i (2TR-FE). Php 180/liter. I just put in 5+ liters . CASAs usually overfills it at 6 liters.

how does this oil stand up to varnishing? i'm just a bit oc when it comes to cylinder head color over time.

i've got my 2000 lancer at 90,xxxx km with just mineral oil at 5k OCI w/ vic oil filter with no discoloration of any sort in the cylinder head and crankcase (opened up the oil pan for inspection during the tb change at 75k). i was using delo multigrade here.

sa manual p323 gasoline 5.6L at 6.9L para sa diesel engine oil, medyo nakakalito lang kasi may ibang units nakalagay sa manual...
anyone here nagpa-tighten na ng bolts and how much?

Used 7 liters fully synthetic 5W40 Toyota Motor Oil.

I only use mineral oil for my D4D. On my 30K PMS, I paid almost Php 4K and that includes replacement of the fuel filter element.

VIN... according to the manual it's either on the rr/rh rail or the fr/lh rail. I took a peek on mine and none was stamped... any ideas where?
