From what I understand the owner bought/received his unit last Oct., 2011(?). The Certificate of Registration (CR) was dated Jan., 2012(?),- kaya he was claiming it was a 2012 model/unit.

However, the facelifted Innova 2012 is still coming out next month....

    There lies the difference, bro.

    HTH. :D

Bought my Innova G last November. So basically it's a 2011 model. Pero sa CR 2012 model nakalagay. I guess this is just for registration purposes. I received my license plates just last week. At yung sticker is for years 2012-2014. I paid in advance for 1 year so 2015 na ang next registration. Alangan naman 2011 ang model tapos ang sticker 2012-2014?

Hindi talaga dikit even original foglamps from Toyota. I had mine installed sa casa (original lamps and switch but without the original steering wheel lever switch - kasi Model E). The Innova's foglamp design is not similar to other vehicles (for example the vios, altis or camry) where the fit and finish is SPOT ON and with proper mouldings. Maybe the newest facelift will have that though.

Same here. Foglamp is used more than the headlights. It provides dimly lit areas with enough illumination without the need for turning the headlights on. I have the habit of turning on my lights when entering building parking areas or when it's cloudy or raining during the day. Learned this from a "driving guru."

mga sir, when we turn on the fog lights, hindi lang sya yung nagbubukas pati yung two(2) small lamps sa inner side ng front headlights.

meron bang way to keep that two small lamps to not turn on? plan ko kase palitan ng HID yung sa headlights ko and parking/fog lights ko, or meron din bang HID para dun sa two small lamps?

    thanks in advance

the two small lights is the park light. you cannot replace them with hid. the best replacement you can put there is led if you want it to be white or any other color.

That's correct sir, fog lamp switch is in series with the park light switch. You can not activate the fog lamp without turning on the park light switch.

Your electrician can rewire it to be independent, downside is your electrical wiring will be tampered.

For the head light's dome park light, if you need white colored bulb. Just buy the white multi-LED bright bulb. I'm using the white 8-LED bulb for park light and it is comparable to stock park light bulb (only that it is white)

yes sir park lights yun. magbubukas talaga yun kasi di bubukas ang fog lights pag di naka on park lights.

tama sila sir, LED is the best replacement for the park lights. pwede din replace mo ng bulb na lang din tapos amber ang color, ganda.

tanong lang mga sir RE parklights and foglights for the innova G/V variants.

ok lang ba na naka turn on yung swtich ng fog lights palage? yung pag ON mo ng parklights eh ON na din kagad ang fog lights and vice versa pag i turn OFF?

kasi my usual practice eh switch ON parklights chaka ko lang i switch ON ang fog lights then pag papatayin, turn OFF ko ang parklights chaka turn OFF ang fog lights. TIA. :D

Ericson, yung innova ko E variant lang pero I have the original Toyota foglamps with the Switch mounted on the leftside panel. I think this is near the side mirror switch if equipped (G and V). For me, I have this fog lamp switch always ON, di ko na sya pinapatay. So yung foglamps turns on/off whenever I switch the parklight on/off. I don't see any problem naman.

Just curious, Does the G and V variant use Denso for the aircon?

I have 2011 E variant and I can confirm it uses aircon by Sanden

Okay lang na lagi naka ON ang switch ng fig lamps. Wala naman kuryente papasok pag naka OFF ang parklight switch.

You can actually test the motion/impact sensor of your TVSS on G & V variant by arming your alarm while your inside the cabin and slapping the top of your dashboard centering the top of cluster gauge panel.
Thanks Mile. I will try this.

My unit is Innova G. Merong switch ung park light at ung fog lamp. There are times na di ko ginagamit ang fog lamp lalo na't di pa naman masyadong madilim so ang nakabukas ko lang ay ang park light.
